Totally. That was an embarassing crayon to eat. It left a bad taste in my mouth...

But wouldn't that involve, I dunno, putting vaseline in my mouth ?
Eww.
Oh come on! It's non-toxic! It's like eating Crayola crayons - it merely aids digestion... without that horrible colored waxy residue.
And yet, petroleum product.
Eww.

webby awards I called about getting tickets to the Webby awards gala and it seems only winners and, maybe nominees, will get tickets. If Ilovebees wins, maybe we can talk the attendees into taking us along.

Well I did my part. I love how this went from ILBs to, "The Gourmet Crayon Eaters Guide".

Just voted. ILB is ahead, but it's kinda tight! 32% against 28% for gamespy and 24% for gamespot.
And yes, just thinking about vaseline inside my mouth makes me feel sick instantly!

Gamespot is kicking our... A bit of hectic news for those of you not following the live tallies on the Webby ballot page:
Gamespot has launched a major voting campaign, and its readers are really kicking our butt. The current live tally is 40% Gamespot and 25% I Love Bees. Ack!! Boo!!
The official Webby Award statement about the People's Voice Award is this: Winning it is a sign of a community's strength and dedication. And I know there isn't any online community stronger or more dedicated than the ARG community.
Winning this Webby would show the world that ARGs are here to stay and the ARG community is serious about supporting the genre. It would let everyone know that ARGs have a real audience and help make sure that future games on the scale of I Love Bees can be made.
So let's keep passing on the good news about the nomination and making sure that ARGers *everywhere*, and all the friends of ARGers everywhere, vote. The People's Voice award is an important opportunity for the ARG world to make a statement.
Here's that voter registration link to pass on to players, friends and family... http://pv.webbyawards.com/register.html
I know we can win! Let's do it!!

Pah. Beekeepers should get extra votes. THEY did something that was though, gamespot users are a bunch of 11 year olds who play counter-strike. Not really hard, unlike ILB.

Geez, I dunno. It's looking pretty dismal. Once a huge forum like that realized what was going on and mounted a campaign, I just don't see how we could catch them.
Unless everyone cashed in their 50 gmail invites or something, to vote 50 times. But I would never suggest cheating.

Yes, because I didn't use all three of my email accounts to vote. Honest

I don't think it was fair to lump an interactive game in with gamer sites. Very different things. We need another category!

Hey Steve why not email the entire community from ARGN as an update about ILB. That way people who don't frequent the forums might still be signed up for the ILB newsletter would be notified about it. People could also go to bungie.net and talk about it there.

I did send this out to the entire ARGN mailing list, first thing I did.
Only thing left would be for Spacebass to do a mass unfiction email, and Adrian to do a mass Cloudmakers email. Dunno if this merits that, tho. Heh.
