Wow... interesting day!

This morning I was thinking about Mary's comment from Chris that "Beth's music is the key," so I decided to try to contact Beth. Since she'd posted to Chris' blog I thought she might be reading his email, too. I sent her an email asking what she knows about what's going on.

I got the following reply:

The best translation I can come up with is:

"Star people will lick you?" "Both a key of Chris internally and a music?" What the heck is that all about?

And note that the reply came from jobs@aresstation rather than Chris' address.

Weird.

 		Thanks, lurker. That looks like it has more words (or at least different ones) than the programs I was using at http://www.stars21.com/index.html?pname=latin1w&aname=latin1wtrans and http://www.kamous.com/translator/s.asp?l=1902 .

I'm thinking the next step is to write to Charlie in Esperanto. I think I'll test things by emailing a question about my job application to jobsSPLATaresstation.com to see if Charlie has completely taken over the HR email address. Otherwise, I expect we can continue to reach him through Chris' email.

The question is, what to write?

 		Will someone change the name of this thread to: "Email from characters"? Or something like that? I was going to make a new thread for the email I just received but decided we should combine, ok? Dunno

Second, the email I received...
Also, I decided to write everyone we know of, an individual email (took a while). I received only one (so far) from the last person I'd expected... Simon. I wrote a long email on current events on the station and tried to become friends with him (poor guy has no one on his side Wink) and decided to ask him for help saving Jacob Jones...

I sent this to Simon: (this is a snip-it)

It seems nice, at first, but if you notice he really wanted to know if any one else knew... he asks twice who knew about this... seems a bit suspicious to me Confused, what do you think? Also, what did he mean by:

What did you tell Simon? I'm concerned because of the new info we have from Chris' files. He obviously knew what happened to Jacob, but was lying about it. I don't know if we can trust him, but maybe now that the truth is known he'll stop lying.

Good job emailing everyone... I'd be interested to hear about any other resonses.

Nothing that revealed how we recieved the info we have... Wink I was pretty dodgy, I didn't want to tell him anything that I shouldn't have...
I still think he's a "good guy"...
I was right to think he sounded suspicous in the email, after hearing Chris' files..

These games sure make you suspicous! Confused

Got this from Hanna in response when I sent her the info on Beth's latest message:

I've just emailed Simon. I'd not got back to him about Blackbird Novelties until now. Still not sure what it is they sell, but fobbed him off - then dropped that I know what happened out there with Jacob. We'll see if he responds...

 		Oh yeah, I did write him, just some basic stuff "I'm a friend, I want to help Jacob, can you show me how?" Stuff like that. But I haven't gotten any response yet.

Edit - oh, the address I used was Chris'. My test email to jobs@... got the usual autoresponse but no actual reply to my question (something about station regulations)

 		I still haven't received a reply back from Simon, why would he reply to my first email and ask questions but not reply once I answer them? Dunno oh, well... Very Happy

This from Mary, in response to me telling her about the Chris's files

 		Ok, I just got another reply back from Simon (me and Simon... we'retightCool), here's what he said, after I answered all his questions about Jacob:

 		I did... I also sent them to Simon Dunno I know it seems like a stupid idea, but he keeps emailing me so I just flat out asked him what it was. I didn't tell him where we got them and I didn't want him to think we were suspicious of him making it...
