i was on the bus this weekend and saw a girl wearing a 'WHERE IS JON? www.helpmefindjon.com' badge, so i asked her where she got it.
picked it up lying down the floor at some party apparently.
i was disappointed :/
anyhow, i still can't think of any new lead for the symbols puzzle.

I don't mean to put anyone on a wild goose chase, but does anyone think there would be any clues gleaned from the site where the last email images originated?

I'm sure we need to open Jon's Contract before we can solve this puzzle.
We just skipped that puzzle out.
Has anyone emailed The Bazookas asked why it mentions Jon Harker?

i tried e-mailing years ago. no reply.
edit: it's funny how lots of 'new' people are suddenly joining the forum and pointing things out. I would have thought it would take someone ages to catch up on the game and be able to make sensible suggestions! maybe they've been lurking? Maybe they've come to help cos they know something we don't? Maybe i'm just being paranoid?

To me, a lot of the "new people" posts seem bizarre red herrings or trivial distractions. I fear someone is trying to hinder our progress.

Pointing things out. Well i have been lurking. And sometimes a new perspective is all you need to point out new stuff. You all have been mulling over this for a while and have your minds wrapped in a particular way around the clues youve found. Ive just begun to wrap the info youve uncovered with whats been shown around my mind. Gives me a fresh view on the info.
Ive tried to look at whats been found and tried to weed out what hasnt been noticed, or rather mentioned. Adding info might help stur the minds of people trying to figure this out. Perhaps the info notice will help others figure out the unsolved puzzles. Ill keep the search up and post what i see.
I hope it helps.

Way back and the puzzle. Tried viewing the /0205/conclusion/ page using the wayback machine
I pondered that it might allow me to use an older verion of the puzzle something that would allow me to 'bypass firewalls'
None the less. the directory is there, but wont even come up. the wayback machine has some issues with flash. Might just be me.
Someone else should try this and see if they get the same.
quite a few of the ingame sites are there. The only one i noticed with significant differences was the marlowe page. but not in a way that would help. dead end least for me.

This whole campaign is viral marketing right? So I decided to do some research on viral marketing, and I found this http://www.wilsonweb.com/wmt5/viral-principles.htm
I'm sure it has no meaning but someone might make something out of it...Notice there are 6 principles....Coincidence??? I'm sure!!!!

I wonder why? It works fine for me. It is the index page with all the images for the last email. Curious. I thought it was strange the way the email was constructed (especially the ihavefoundjon image), and followed the source back.

I tried a while back to get sids for the other sites but came up empty because they never replied with an unsubscribe link.

The Six Signs Just a little thing i noticed. Look at HWAU at the signs
Look at each image. How many parts is each image divided into.
By that i mean look at the images and see that for instance.
The trident is divided into 2 sepearate pieces.
(the outside spikes and bottom, and the inside one)
taking this, you get
Corvus Corvax 5 (head, tail, body, 2 legs)
Trident 2 (outside, inside)
Ophidia 4 (tail,coil1, coil2, head)
Flame and fire 3 (3 flames)
Lepidoptera 8 (right ant.,left ant,head,body, 4 wing parts)
Canidea 1 (whole body is one piece)
No combonations of that number and order set work. I even tried using the fibbanocci version of each number. 1,1,2,3,5,21 ... this is probably nothing. but ill post it as another potential.

OK, I got an e-mail back from the Bazookas people
Hi,
Thanks for your Email.
Yes, Jon Harker is a fan of The Bazookas. We haven't seen him for quite a while now though. His favourite song was always Phone in Sick Tomorrow - maybe he's ill or something!
Thanks for the interest in our band, hope to see you at our next gig.
Love The Bzks x
Not very interesting.
No SID number either.
I might call the phone number tomorrow. (It's too late here to call now)

'sorry i can't take your call. leave a message and i'll get back to you as soon as i can.
didn't sound like Jon.
I still don't think it'll get us anywhere.
