 		[TRAILHEAD] The Matrix Is Real is back
For those of you that weren't there/don't remember, one of the ARGs that used to be in unForums was called 'The Matrix is Real'. It got shut down, though, and for a while, the creator (OhVerisimilitude on AIM) would just update every once in a while with odd sayings on the front page. Now, however, he put up http://www.thematrixisreal.com/f5/ and has said that he is restarting it, in a way. Sorry if this is not right heading / whatever, by the way. But just thought that anyone that liked it back in January might be interested now that it's happening again.

once you click [what i assumed to be] "power" on the television, and then click [what i again assumed to be] the "channel-knob", what do you do at the point where the snow has zoomed in?

Question 2.) Is this a funded/commercial ARG by the Matrix production staffs? Or is this grassroots fan-work? Do we even know?

 		It looks like a magic eye picture to me too... And I am the same - can't do them either...anyone who can usually do them the magic eye site says it is harder to do on a computer screen so you should print it out...

I have been looking at it on the computer screen for a while... I see some backwards 9s about 5/8ths of the way down.

Also:

If you open the front page picture up in notepad.

 		Ok i took a look at the magic eye picture and this is what i see
magic eye *btw something happened to the image when I was uploading it... but you get the general idea what it should look like*

I'm sure there's a way of using GIMP or Photoshop to take the layers away and see the actual image... Or maybe I'm thinking of something else.

 		I got FlashMX on my computer (I am on a university computer at the moment)...and I copied the .swf file out of my cache...

I am not sure If I should (I read somewhere that breaking appart a flash file was frowned upon in ARGs...)...well I won't be on the computer for atleast 12 hours - So If someone says I shouldn't I won't.

It really depends on what for. Its not frowned upon in general, there have been puzzles hidden in flash that we could only solve by decompiling and various technical things like that in some former ARGs.
I think that this case warrants good use of a decompilation, to view that image without me staring at an old-ass CRT monitor until my eyes begin to literally melt out of my head Shocked Silly.

also tried /sunglasses.html and /shades.html with no luck, but in the movie they all wear dark glasses, not specs.

 		Well, after staring at this thing for close to an hour I can kinda see in the right circle a curved line right there the middle. It extends out of the circle also....

Dont know if that helps much... But Im in on this one, played the first and liked it alot.

EDIT:::www.thematrixisreal.com has been updated and links the the TV site.

 		Could it be something to do with being blind? A lot of blind people wear sunglasses. We're taking it to mean sighte, however, the matrix was all about things being false.. so maybe it's the opposite of sight?

 		since we actually know what the picture is off. (we just haven't figured out what to do with it.) I am not going to disect the flash file.
