My 2 cents.
I would call the number, but i'm outside the U.S. and i'm not allowed to make long distance calls. Also, someone in chicago should really check it out.

Maybe it's a payphone?... sometimes they're unreachable... I dunno... but if it is then maybe somebody could track it down somehow... it could be near where that P.O. Box is... maybe a clue or oppurtunity for bonus points lie there? again... just another $0.02

Funny how they're registered through godaddy and their nameservers belong to a Melbourne based registrar.

Of course, godaddy does advertise domains by proxy.

Checked the Payphone Project and didn't find them, so that's not it.

Encouraging that they're Chicago-based.

I tried to do a Reverse lookup on the number that's listed there... and all I got was that it is from illinois and that the carrier for the number is (or at least was) Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, Llc - Il. so that means that it's a mobile phone number (and also makes alot more sense since the reverse phone lookup didn't work) however it may no longer be with Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, Llc - Il. because of number portability.

Maybe if somebody's willing to pay 15 bucks then they could spring for an advanced reverse-lookup at www.ussearch.com and if they get no results then there's no charge...

anywho not sure of much else except that I'm pretty sure that enzo's an italian name and that some of the pictures in the orb thing on the trailhead seem to have an italian connection (see the larger 20 page thread)

My brother called said number with his cell phone (He just got it for easter, and his number isn't exactly out in the open) After he called, he started getting messages, one of them said that he needed to get the bodies out of the beach house because they were starting to rot, and another that just said something three times...

I have no idea if they're in game or not, but he only started getting calls after he called the listed number.

That's what I'm saying. He wanted me to call up on my phone too, but I think I'll just wait and see what happens with him.

I just called the number with my cellphone, I got what sounds more like a voicemailbox on somone's cellphone. It gave me the option to page the number.

I'm a little leery of doing that just yet

isp

MELBOURNE IT are a very good Australian based Domain registrar, There fully accredited by ICANN for .com .org and .net domains and are the sole administrator for the com.au domain. They are popular with many UK ISP's I know for a fact that UK providers claranet and Netscalibur use them.

Go Daddy are simply a 3rd party go between that companies can use to hide there details from the world.
I know for a fact that all the web sites used in the metacortechs.com ARG were all registrared using Go Daddy.
