JPHide/JPSeek I'm just rapidly trying to get up to speed on everything...I only started on Friday, and so many pages are missing...
But, I'm wondering if anyone has run any of the available graphics through this software to see if anything is hidden inside of them?
We were looking into that during Majestic.
Hope it's helpful.
EDIT:
For example, goto http://linux01.gwdg.de/~alatham/stego.html and download JPHS. Once you have it installed, download the jpeg attached to this post. It's called newpicture.jpg. Run JPHS, and open the jpeg. Click 'seek' from the menu, and at the passphrase and confirmation prompt, enter "find" in both boxes.
It'll prompt you to save the new file as something. Make sure you give it a .jpg extension when you save it. You'll find that the Lake of Tears logo has been "hidden" inside the other picture.

It was tried with a few pictures, but because it kept on turning into dead ends, folks stopped doing that. Plus the guy with the software seems to have stopped with playing.

Ormus, are you saying that there is something happening here? We've been blowing it off.
EDIT -
Oh, are you demonstrating how steganography works via this picture, but it's not really a pic from the game?
I'm trying to figure out if in-game pics have valid hidden info in them. Can you point us towards one that you were successful with?

Yes, I'm merely demonstrating what's possible.
I just took a small filesized picture and inserted it into the larger one to show the concept.
I understand that it's been discounted as improbable, but I just thought it was something that should be checked out again.
Varin, the passphrase is "find" (no quotes) in both fields. I tested it before uploading and after uploading, so maybe a step just got missed.

I think what he is saying is we have passwords now

Valas, I think what Ormus is saying is that now we have some passwords we can try to get the second picture out. He specifically mentioned the movie 'Along Came a Spider' to me Monday night.
Notes: TP has been asking everyone "What is your favorite movie?" and not answering "Me too!" to any of them...
Dale specifically said in chat to me that he thought the picture of Sarah up on the Aglaura site was gone and no longer there. The picture is still there, and Dale did make a point of mentioneing "That" picture in specific. just beacuse we have looked at something before does not mean we can't take another look now.
Ormus, if you have access to the software, I agree this is something that needs looking into.

TP also keeps asking about Science Fiction writers. However, this may be a residual programming pattern from the original chatbot program, rather than a hint to passwords or keywords.
Pattern noted: request a cite and TP gives you three websites. The first "cite" was a lead into the missing manuscript pathway keywords. After that pathway was completed, three new sites appeared after any request to cite. Review these websites for keywords for the current pathway. When that pathway is complete, then "cite" will generate three different websites.

I do have access to the software. What I don't have is a qualitative list of words that would be agreed upon as possible trigger words.
Certainly I could troll the boards for keywords or for uncommon text, but I fear that would remove much of the experience.
If you have a list of words that you'd like me to try, I'd be happy to do so.

I realize that hun.. I merely explained why we were no longer doing so. I made no judgement call on whether or not it's worth our time to pursue this, because quite frankly I don't know either way.
So I'm going to leave it up to Ormus if he wants to do it or not.
Do wonder if he got his Gidbinn though, ought to help him along with his quest.
