[XBOX] LEGOS Star Wars: The Video Game I picked up this game yesterday along with Jade Empire LE. Heck it was only $39.99 so I figured I might as well see what it's like. I started playing it and it is pretty much the most addictive game I've played in a while.
Let me just put it to you this way...
Any game that lets you kill Jar Jar Binks... repeatedly... is way cool in my book.
It was so fun I haven't even played Jade Empire yet. But I plan on remedying that tonight.

i'm very selective of the games i buy, my games budget's pretty limited (that's what i'm just now playing the FIRST prince of persia)
anyway, this seems like one of the few games i'm actually going to shell out the money for, based on the reviews so far
Grifter, did you play through the episode iii chapters yet? or are you waiting until after May 19th?

It has co-op! Since it's not a FPS and my wife won't suffer from motion sickness, it's almost a must for me now!

I haven't played throught Ep III yet. I plan on playing the game straight through, but due to limitations of time (and Halo 2, KOTOR II, and Jade Empire), I seriously doubt that I will make it to Episode III by May 19th. As tempting as it would be to see what happens, I will probably wait.

Water10, It is a great game to play Co-op on! My GF and I have played the first two chapters, and it rocks. She's not a fan of FPS either. We just finished up Champions: Return to Arms, and she enjoyed that. After LEGOS Star Wars, we are going to play co-op through X-men Legends. I already beat the game, but I want to go through it with her, cause she seems to enjoy the RPG Action games.

Champions? I'll go check this game! I've tried to get my wife into X-men, since we both loved comics for some time, but she didn't like it very much. The 2 games she really enjoyed playing co-op with me were Baldur's Gate and Hunter. My big problem is that's very hard to predict what kind of game she'll enjoy! I thought she would love X-men, LOTR Return of the King and Two Towers and Top Spin, but she didn't like those ... She enjoyed Soul Calibur, but since I beat her everytime, she doesn't like to play as much! I'm a BIG fan of co-op games, back from the arcade days of Double Dragon, 4-player TMNT and 6-player X-Men!!! If only Halo had 4-player co-op! I'm trying to get together with some buddies and rent Ghost Recon2 one of these days ....

Champions: Return to Arms [PS2 Only] was a lot of fun. We just finished it this week. I might also suggest LOTR: The Third Age. It has a very good Co-op Play. Also you might want to check out Gladius[Any Console- I have Xbox version which got the highest rating]; A very well made Turn based strategy game from Lucas Arts. Up to 4 people can play Co-op.
I also enjoy a good co-op game, and what better way to spend time with your love one than playing games and helping each other out.
In LEGOS Star Wars, we completed Ep I much faster than I thought we would, so it's on to Ep II.

That's what they said on X-Play. Almost word for word.

We just picked this up last night, Autumn and I played straight through Episode I, laughing and goofing around with the characters the whole time. The game is just FUN. In 'free play' mode, its like having a bunch of action figures and a playset that you can just play in, set up little scenarios, etc.
Granted, its EASY, but that's not really the point, its more about exploring around and finding the little puzzles that unlock new bricks. I wish it had more than 2 players for a "party" mode, but as it stands, its still alot of fun to just goof around with.

Y'know, I've had this game running right next to the tech booth I work in at Best Buy all day every day for the past month and haven't really given it that much thought, but based on what you guys have said so far (namely the playability with the significant other and the killing Jar Jar thing) I may just have to pick this one up!

P.S. I'm still praying that we get to witness the death of Jar Jar in Ep.III. That in itself would make the whole prequel trilogy worth while.
