Business Hours and curiosity

Hello all,

I've got a question that I haven't seen addressed on this forum...

It seems that the times when people sleep, get home from work, have sex, shop, make bank deposits, etc., are very structured in Push.

Since that's the case, why do all the businesses that we see profiled in the Push Times, and on the Chamber of Commerce site, have such varying hours of operation?

What would be the point, for example, of having a store open from 12 to 12, if everyone has to be home in bed asleep for hours before then?

Just something that's been niggling at my brain.
