I just solved it for argologists...the answer has to do alot with 79...but think of 79 in terms of years...not the year 1979

Good work KJA.
I was going to ask if anyone was looking into a fishing rod possibility, but at least my team has solved it now.

Something else I just thought of.... Lightning rods. Can anyone find a significant incident in 1979 if a lightning strike killing a family? Something that could have been prevented if they'd had lightning rods installed on their house, perhaps?

Challenge
In 79, two rods can save the family.
Excellent! You have solved the challenge and earned 10 pts for team ARGolonists. Look for a new challenge tomorrow.

Here's the answer, and how I got it.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The 79 seemed cryptic to me, so I thought, "what if it means years, but not 1979?" so I added 79 to 2005 to get 2084. I did a quick google search for 2084 and Family, and got the answer. It's a videogame called Robotron. The answer was Robotron.
