ppics.zip was a quick crack with the zip password utility. But seriously, don't look at the password until we find the correct solve for it.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I told you not to look. Someone tell me if you want the pw

Seriously, what is the point of using a cracker to get the password if you're not going to end up using it?

Next time, either post the answer or keep it to yourself. This "I know something you don't know" isn't keeping with the spirit of cooperation and this ARG.

Here's the password to ppics.zip and sightseeing.zip, if you want them

No I didn't figure them out, I cracked them. If you don't want to see them , don't look, but it you do, go for it

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
password for ppics is pawns

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
password sightseeing is watermark

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The password "watermark" now has a solve based on journal00360.doc.

Take the initial letters of each sentence in the body of the memo (SALLVPOLD), use the subject of the memo (washedout) as the vigenere key, and you'll get "watermark" for the plaintext answer.

Background theme is clearly the German states. I would guess that the sequence and colors will permit the derivation of another password.

Man, I really don't have enough time for this!

It appears a gentle application of "forelle" is in order.

Like I said, I really don't have time for this. Even when I do, it seems I am behind the clock... Embarassed
