What I found...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the source, I found a META tag, description, with a long string of binary. Translating, I get this:
Hiding things in the source code is so 20th century. If you're looking for more info: PC Gamer. June issue. Worldwide debut.

Oooh, so now we wait for PCGamer. I'm jumping on this one right now, heheh. We have to see the movie or something.... the comment:

I dont know if this is hinting at the movie we see on the page, or a movie being released. Looks like we have to wait for PCGamer anyway.

I saw the clue 'The smallest monkey can be found in the Philippines' so I googled philippine monkey and got results for the Phillippine monkey-eating eagle. This fits in with the 'prey' aspect of the ARG, I dunno if this leads to anything though.

Does anyone know how to decompile a flash movie and look at it's source?

Just a note: 3D Realms (yeah, you know, THOSE guys) are Making Prey again. Prey was apparently a build-based shooter in the vein of DN3D and Shadow Warrior, but with an American Indian styling. Development went through 4 engines, the Death of it's lead programmer, and the Dissapearance of the coolest Female developer ever to grace the face of the planet, Corrine Chang, before dying a horrible, horrible vaporware death.
Like a pheonix from the ashes, 3D realms have Re-announced Development of Prey, in a Max Payne-Like Supervisory role, leaving the actual Development to HumanHead Software. (so they're still working on DNF. )
The prey.com site appeared the day of the announcement, STINKING of ARG.
The main clue is pointing us towards PC gamer's June edition, so we'd better wait till then. Hopefully, the announcement in the magazine will be a Trailhead to a 3DR-Made ARG.. oh, I do hope so.

Prey Actually Prey never used the build engine, it always used its own engine. Also, the one you call Corrine Chang name is Corrine Yu.

That's just something Flash adds to the html when you publish it. It's where Flash puts URLs and text from the movie.

If one visits the Prey.com URL you will see at first a typical domain name "Coming soon" page, but wait a few seconds and something else appears that is likely a teaser about the long-in-development Prey title.
After a few seconds, a Flash animation shows up that creates a hole in the page and the words, "Earth's Savior Doesn't Want The Job" appear. A visual of a spooky looking face shows up before the animation shuts down.
Prey is now a near mythical first person shooter title that 3D Realms first showed off at E3 in 1997 and 1998 behind closed doors. It would have used an advanced portal based 3D graphics engine created by 3D Realms. The game, which featured a Native American character fighting aliens, was cancelled soon after E3 1998 but according to a recent CNN article the game is being developed by a third party developer under 3D Realms's supervision. The game is also using id Software's Doom 3 engine. No other info, including a release date or publisher, is currently known, although the Prey.com web is owned by Take Two Interactive.

Just a few small things/dead ends that noone noticed or commented on (yet),
The www.prey.com site says
Quote:
This Site Is Currently Under Consumption. Coming soon
Consumption?? Interesting...
Also rather alot about pets dont you think? and the links to altavista for all the adverts. But searching with the advert titles and content brought up nothing..
However searching for tchotchkes (from one of the ads on the right) brought up the dictionary.com definition as "a cheap showy trinket" from yiddish, and searching "joanie loves tchotches" brough up a smartmoney article (about corporate gifts) and a city pages article about a pair of short films. When the information in this article (film names/actors names) is run through IMDB only John Margolis brings anything up, and that is only one minor peice of crew work, and one minor peice of extra work.
Also there are 3 blank frames after the auto stop for the flash, but thats probably nothing, or something to do with the way the flash was made
I would also like to point out that PC gamer are the magazine that did an article on ARGs (which got me interested), and so a clue in there is unsuprising.

I did more searchin on "Joanie Loves Tchotchkes" and found it was written by Joshua Margolis. It has a sequel titled "Joanie Loves Furbies".
Erin Muir (of the HBO series Angels in America) was in both movies.
Josh Margolis is also the founder of Silogram Productions (notice Margolis~silograM).
I can't really find anything relevant to prey.com though. I hope the info is useful.
Edit: I also searched Talequah (Tahlequah being the proper spelling). Nothing interesting there either.

the picture that appears in the flash after the tagline has changed, its now a weird pale face with a knife in the head, could this develop into a daily thing?
