Now that I'm thinking about it, the white dots kind of look like data that would be on a CD or a Casette. Maybe something to do with the new Blu-Ray format?
Edit: Now that I think about it the reason CDs are rainbow colored on the back is because of the little slits on the back of them. Kinda goes with my spectroscopy theory before heh o_O
Also where are Team Yay's forums?
Finally, I've attached an image of the inverted picture, figured maybe you guys might notice something different in it.

I put the picture into microsoft word and shrunk it to see if any words would appear. On its side it sorta looks like GS...try it and see if you can see anything. Its worth a try.
What I think he meant by looking at it on its side is this:
print it out
put it on a surface like a table
look at it at eye level.
This is a common optical illusion where nothing but block will appear as words when viewed at thisangle.
just my thoughts on this... I think the white spots are irrelevant as to figuring out the next part. gamem8ker says "
have you seen everything?". Well we've already seen the white spaces, the barcode, and the phone number... so it must have something to do with something else in the image.
after that im pretty much clueless

I'm thinking the same. "Message 512"... Why bother to tell us the date of the MTV showing, again? To me, there's something more to that statement...

bash me for being stupid, but what significance did the "reset reality" play?... And I don't think they are realy reminding us of the MTV thing, or that it has realy anything to do with MTV.... why message 512? why not event 512 or showing 512, or anything other than message? I think that the term "message" was used on purpose.

Maybe when you dial the phone number you hit extension 512 or something? We've seen it all before maybe this is something that we didn't see?

Mind me if I'm sounding stupid but...
Kinda odd how it was like... "Message 512" and then followed, "Please leave a message"...
Perhaps to answer this challenge we have to call back with the right answer, leave the correct answer on the voice mail? Doing something with whatever 512 is?

yeah... the 0 and 4 are definatly photoshoped... along with the arrow, meaning these are things we should be looking at a little more.... but they don't seem to lead any where....

Wait...the first fan is pointed near the 5 on a clock and the second to a 2
and then at the bottom of the picture it sais 04... could this be a date
If yes, then the date is 5/2/04, or may 2nd 2004
anyone know anything that happened during that date?
EDIT: Or, if you follow the arrow and the drilled dot on the first fan and look right below at the 0 and the 4, it could be 5/9/04

The main problem with this puzzle is that there is no easy way to answer. We probably have to leave a message on the machine, but theres no easy way to tell if we've got it or not.
Maybe it's simply "arrow 0 4" But I dont think thats credable enough to leave a message. But with the website I'd put any old crap in just in case.

I disagree. After deblocking the given image and taking a bidifferential, approximately 5-6 pixel square blocks can be seen, most likely created by JPEG compression at capture time. Jpeg blocks are always 8 or 16 pixels, so these blocks were created before the image was scaled down and compressed for redistribution. Close analysis of the area around the arrow and the boxed numbers on the PCB shows no difference in JPEG artifacting on/around this items. The lack of difference suggests they were in-place the previous time that the image was jpeg compressed. The only logical time that it would have been compressed before the final pass for posting was when it was taken by the camera.

Hehe, forgot about that. Thanks
Anyone think that the thing in the picture could be a console? I've been looking but found nothing. Just a thought.
