Disagree, except for the betraying. Calling the weapon is a VALUABLE way of working the team to its best advantages, and saving time. Being gracious about who gets what weapon is far more important.

True. But I think it's a good rule when you play with strangers. Some common sense is always the best thing. I've had strangers complaining because I got sniper/shotgun on certain maps and sometimes they don't even say anything beforehand ... Those are very generic rules and don't necessarily apply for when you're playing with beekeepers.

Adding to what has already been said about this; I think this also depends on the situation. It is counter productive to the team if you call a weapon that spawns halfway across the map (this applies to beekeepers and non-beekeepers alike). If you call the Rocket Launcher on Coag, that doesn't really hold water, because ultimately the person that spawns closest to the Ghost (with Warthog backup of course!) should make a run for the Rockets.

22. Don't ask what team you are on. If you don't know, press the back button and check where your name is listed. If your name is on a blue background, you are on blue team. A red background means you are on red team. It's a fairly simple concept.

There is are two much simpler ways to determine what team you are on.
1) In the lower right hand corner of the screen it shows the team scores. There is an ARROW pointing to which team YOU ARE ON.
2) Do a Melee attack and see what color your armor is.

I think a 23rd Item should be listed.

23. Don't talk trash or call people Noobs in "TEAM TRAINING"! It's training and no one should be talking trash in games that don't matter (AKA don't affect your ranking).

I disagree. It should not be necessary to call weapons, if you play with the same group regularly. The group should know their positions and weapons. If you play with different people regularly, you must call or negotiate weapons to avoid 2+ people running for the same weapon in the mad scramble to get the most important weapons at the beginning of the game. It's even okay to get mad if someone initially grabs the weapon you called. After all, if you knew your teammate was going to take that weapon anyway, you could at least have been going for a different weapon or sticking around to defend. Later in the game, it may be acceptable and necessary for a teammate to pick up your weapon, if for no other reason than to keep your opponents from getting it. Etiquette requires your teammate to turn that weapon over to you when as soon as possible.

And so you did. It really was late, and I really was tired. I didn't leave when I hit level 11 just because of that.

What?! You're saying I shouldn't call the enemy's rockets on Waterworks? They really seem to want me to have them.

Ok Clayfoot. You're the exception to the rule. Go get the rockets, but then you better return to the base ASAP! Smile

Last night's games were fun, even with the cheaters. And they even waited until we scored before starting with that crap, which just goes to show how wussy they really are.

Yep. Funny thing is when I stole their flag, I went to their roof with rockets. I dropped a couple of grenades, but there was nobody on their base!! I got the flag without shooting a single rocket! When I go to the roof with the flag, there was a single guy following me, so as soon as I went through the teleporter, I dropped the flag and standed there with rockets pointed to the teleporter spot and blasted the guy when he came after me. With such bad defense, no wonder they have to cheat to compete! Wink

I dont know if you guys saw this already, but on HBO there is a Not so common sence strategy guide In there he discusses player styles in terms of animals. Hawk, Bear, Spider, Wolf, and Vulture. I think we need to be more wolflike, funny thing, check his discription he basicaly says "there is always a bigger dog" so get a bunch of little dogs and rip the big dog a new one. I would add my own type, The Bull. the bull sees red (the flag) and charges after it ignoreing all else, focusing on that one objective crashing through everything in the way. hopefully. the bull usualy dies but will move the flag or get the bomb closer to being armed.
