Web's done, so take a time out. Get to the library and ask yourself, "What would Charlotte do?"

The documents, leaked by an anonymous source within the Academy, discuss a plan for Kiteway to address some form of communication to a large audience of Earth inhabitants on Friday, April 22, at 3:00pm in "the London time district."

Dosn't Sente control what happens within the Sentinel Earth Edition? So, the article about the "leak" could have been simply leaked on purpose. Anonymous sources. Inside the Academy. That just makes me think it was done on purpose, or that this article is faked by the Academy, and it's a hint that something will happen. Now, we take the futures, and from those, I get this: The library is important. That one library, in NYC, where the cards were found in the books. Maybe that comes into play again, and this time the clues will be in Charlotte's Web? How else should we get the webcast? And, dissapointily, I won't be able to catch the web cast! Damn you, PST! Oh, and the whole "school" thing, too. Oh, well. Hopefully it'll be replayable.

Still, as I'm not on the fastest of computers, could someone look through the article for clues? Maybe the letters sections has something?

To be honest, it's the wording of it and the speech marks that make me think (the more I look at it) that it's talking about Greenwich (obviously would be the Time District in london), however there is the possibility it just means 3:00pm GMT (or rather BST i guess now... heh)

<shameless plug>If you go to the link in my sig it's a free geocities site, but all the news articles (as they are on the main pages), letters, and futures are listed together on their own pages. You could read them all without loading more pages. Wink (The news articles themselves still link out to the Sentinel site, but the blurbs are together.)</shameless plug>

Is it me or am i thinking differently to you guys.

My take on the futures thing. The one about being down a rabbit's hole etc is surely an Alice in Wonderland reference.

Also, the hand one. In my somewhat perverted mind, relates thus: Telling your sister that when you go south, remember to bring the spray, is a sexual reference re giving head!

I think that the most probable meaning of 'London Time District' is GMT. I say that, because firstly there is no marking after time, as to what locale the 3pm refers to and it does not give us a geographical location, and secondly, Greenwich is not normally referred to as London Time District, even doing a google search gives you zip all.

Not sure you're right here. the article says "on Friday, April 22, at 3:00pm in "the London time district." I think the key word here is "in". Surely that suggests a location?

Notice how only London is capitalised though. This suggests that the rest of the words in the quote are not part of the description of the location, since they would also be capitalised.

I think the wording simply means "when it is 3:00 in the london time district", or, "when it is 3:00 in london". Not necesarrily meaning "In London, when it is 3:00".

Perplex City is a whole city, and a damn big one at that. So things are divided by district. So they posted a message to us using terms they had at hand. (this suggests (but does not absolutely indicate) the perplex universe does not use timezones at all. perhaps the world is a cube itself. or perhaps it's a fFlat plane. or perhapsthey prefer to use one time globally.)

or it could be read as 3:00pm (in the london time district) i.e. 3:00pm (in GMT)

I still personally think it's greenwich though... It's just the way it's worded gets me thinking that... I don't know... I want a little bit more info before I spend £15 on a train ticket... (Although I'm convincing my friends here to go as well, so hopefully if we do go it'll mainly be a fun day out in london getting ratarsed Very Happy)

SasunD - the fact that only London is capitalised would say to me its more likely to be a place - the "time district in London" or "Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)"... Meh.. I dunno

Anyhoo, it's BST over here atm, just to be pedantic Razz
