I think that Sente has been devising a plan for opening a connection or something between our internet and PPC's internet. He'll then appear at the right time in the IRC chatroom or something. Just my guess.
Hasn't this basically been done? We have access to their newspaper (albeit an "external edition") and Scarlet's Blog.

Anyone in London know of some either big graffiti stuff (south of the sark maybe) or (or perhaps near) a pub or something relating to a bull (The Bull, The Red Bull etc...)?
This got me thinking of the Red Bull Art of Can exhibition but it's over - and was in East London rather than South. Oh well...

April 22 is the height of the Lyrids meteor shower but the moon will be very bright and 'occulting' Jupiter. These meteors come from a comet but look like they are coming from Vega, the alien source of transmissions in Carl Sagan's "Contact."
As for The Sentinel, I think we are being lied to by the media or the Error Logs:
Quote:
I'd say we could even expense it -- just need to form an anthro research team looking into that consumer habit of theirs "Subject: Civilisation and Late Stage Urbanisation, A Phase 2 Consumer Transition" must be in the offing
Why is Lyssa in line buying trendy items at Earthworks when our "consumer habit" is an inside joke to academy researchers?

Obviously Lyssa and co were successful in conning the academy for a grant, which they have been using as seed funding for their EarthChic

Would do but it's blocked from this computer. Anyone care to describe or even copy it to here, please? Pretty please?

So I guess the big question is do we go by GMT or BST?
... and of course there's the question of if I should be sitting in front of my computer, TV, or radio at this time.... maybe I'll set up all three!
As people have rightly said, different parts of the world operate on GMT too, London time means local tiem London doesn't it? Therefore BST(GMT +1) not GMT.

I hope it's BST as that's the actual TIME here. Also if it's really GMT thenit won't actually happen till 4.00 in actual british time, at which time I'll be on a bus on the way home

*Throws Xargon a rubix cube* Thanks for that
OK, it's weird, it's a strange coincidence, but it's completely unrelated to us. Still, good for a laugh on a quiet Tuesday morning.

Re: the Onion article - it's making fun of the Cubist art movement. OOG and purely a conincidence. If we assume everything that mentions a cube is in game we're gonna be searching through a hell of a lot of stuff....
POTUS - I got the impression the smiley was because Lyssa had thought up a cunning wheeze to feed her Earth obsession on the Academy's budget.
As for the meteor shower, there's not really been any mention of anything like this in game so far, plus we won't be able to see anything at 3pm anyway.
And since the original quote was talking about London time I'm confident it's BST, not GMT.

Are you suggesting that Sente will somehow write a message for us using a meteor shower??! I admit that would be extremely cool, although perhaps a little unlikely
