Email: Bruce has heard from possession910 again

Oh, raynardm, what a tangled web you have woven with my Bruce. See the second email.

Heather:
Willingham? Isn't that the antique lady's husband? I thought there was no love lost between he and Dale lately. Dale isn't a suspect in JD's death, is he? And the Don -- was he also there on Saturday, when all this went down?

Heather:
Glad you sent a second mail. I have a question for you -- on a somewhat
disturbing subject (one that I'd appreciate a straight answer). I received a
recent mail from my 'stalker', possession910. After my recent adventures with the DEGs, this individual seems almost benign. Nonetheless, po
intimated in the postscript of the letter that Diana may have been pregnant at the time of her death. Is this true? If so, is the information public enough that Dale knows? I would think that such a revelation might send him over the edge, so I am hoping against hope that Po is just fishing for dirt. If there is fire to her smoke, I'd like to know it -- and then I'd like to know what you folks are doing to keep this all from Dale's ears.
Bruce

Looks like someone is sending out info again to twist the tigers tail. Let's hope it stops at Bruce.

Magesteff - the stuff from Possession910 to Bruce started about two months ago when we were spec'ing that he & Diana may have had an affair. He wrote to Heather asking about some strange picture that was sent to him (see the long Email: Bruce thread that is mostly stuff between he and Heather - as I was building up a friendship and trust with him to find out the truth). We wondered if the nasty email was ingame and the picture was another puzzle, but raynardm confessed to us in chat that it was her trying to push him to a confession.

It's not at all like "Insider12" stuff. But raynardm needs to post her original email (so we can complement her on her creativity again) Razz

Oh, by the way folks, the father wasn't Bruce (shhh, but please, trust Heather).

Heather:

What a pleasure to hear from you. It does seem like eons since we could talk about things that weren't so serious. Hopefully Dale will find us all a way out of this. Speaking of which, I have a bad feeling that Dale may be on the lam again, because my little DEG shadows have returned -- one outside my condo, and another (at least I think it's a different one -- I don't get close enough to check details) near the office. Since I haven't done anything to attract attention to myself (at least not that I know of), I assume it's events in Aglaura -- and that the DEGs are wondering if Dale will show up here.

Things with Angie are -- pleasant. I'm comfortable with her, she's an
attractive and intelligent woman, and certainly brave enough to take
risks. It seemed appropriate to go to Sal's funeral as a couple. What a scene. Hundreds of folks at the memorial service -- then a car ride over out to the Marzano mausoleum for the internment. Plenty of wiseguys, but lots of politicians, business leaders, and any number of folks you'd recognize if you read the Wall Street Journal or the Times society pages. The Don has his hands in all the right pockets -- or is it up their backs, moving them around like puppets?

I tried (and mostly succeeded) in keeping a low profile through it all,
though of course paying my respects to the Don and his wife was required. The Don was properly somber, but he didn't exactly look heartbroken -- so it wouldn't surprise me if you say he had a hand in his demise (particularly if Sal was considering going against the family). In a truly strange moment, Marco M came up to us and gave me a hug like we were the closest of friends. He said to me "Sal really liked you, man.
He always thought all that stuff you knew -- wines, and books, and plays -- was hysterical, y'know? What am I gonna do now that he's gone?" And as I stood there, patting him on the back, I really felt bad for the guy -- Marco's the Fredo of the Marzano clan, if you know what I mean. Neither Frank or the Don has really ever had much use for him. But with Sal, he had a partner in crime -- two mugs with half a brain each. Now he really is alone.

So, I imagine you can't believe I've written three paragraphs without
talking through your big revelation. So Po was right. Poor Dale! God help the person who leaks this to him, if I catch them. Dale loved Meaghan so -- and would have loved her sister or brother too. And your associates think I'm the father? I wish I were surprised. Yes, poor Dale has been made to pay ten times over for his good fortune with all that has happened this last six months. But for a while, he had it all . . . and I was never sure he fully appreciated what he had.

I'm not sure I'll sleep too well tonight. But thank you for trusting me
with this confidence. Believe me, when I say I will never betray this secret to Dale. What would be the point in adding insult to injury?

Let me know what you can about Dale's progress -- I'll report if
anything new happens with my little shadows.

Hugs,
Bruce
