[Out of Game] New pic on TXB forum I am a member of TXB, and wanted to let you guys in on something that's going on there right now. This thread might be important, but people don't really know what else to do with it. So I thought I'd let you guys in on it and maybe we can come up with something more over here.

Well unfortunately there really isn't anyway that we can prove it's real. But since there really isn't anything at all to do right now, hoaxes might not be such a bad thing. I guess all we can really do is check out everything that comes along until something new happens at ourcolony.net

Until a link between this image and OurColony.net is provided, this thread is "Out of Game".
Added tag to subject.
Thanks!

Hmm. I'll just assume that it came from a certain P2P network because of the username (from where the pic came from) and because the network name also has five letters.
Having said that, is it usual for ARGs to drop hints on a P2P network?
I mean if I were an ARG maker, I would put hints where at least it's visible and where it has at least an amount of connection to the main game, like that Alex Rosen site or Humanclock.com, you know. (And even with those sites, the connection or the clues aren't clear.)
But it's an interesting picture. I'm betting on hoax though.

Nice Find!
Hmmm the last challenge respond was:
Reset Reality ... message 512
512 is on the clock ... should we call the phone number again at 512? Or is it a Messager (phone number ... with extention 512)?

I *really* want to believe this pic is real. Theres something about it to me that suggests its genuine...but i cant believe it until it can be linked to ourcolony in any way. Did someone say it came from P2P software? That's a very unusual way of distrbuting clues..because not many people would think to look on there.
Also, it might just be me but there seems to be something written on the door - "FEAR" or something?
Oh and another thing, there seems to be something written on one of the bricks to the right of the door?
There also seems to be numbers on the pipes but i cant work out most of them...37 looks like one of them?

There is also numbers on the pipes above the clock (and a smiley face with tongue )
You need to see the close up to see them. I think I can tell what they all are... (squints).

Its too blatently obvious to be connected in any way. Just someone trying to screw with players. The big indicator being the "I can't tell you where I got this, teehee teehee".

Well whether the pic is real or not they did a pretty good job of coloring it. It looks like the pic was in black and white and then they colored only the things they wanted colored..."Sin City" style.

And seeing as one of the launch titles for the XBox360 is Condemned, an FPS where there's a LOT of Sin-City effects (mind you, the effect isn't FROM sin city, you realise, the black and white faux-color effect's been around since the days of lovecraft) I kinda think this MAY be related, at least as a promorional pic..
