I still get the feeling that the PM's are following the beat to their own drum may be the 1st of April is important. But on a curious note could the reference to 'Return to the beginning' be a reference to this forum rather than the game?
Where did this dicussion start?

Does anyone know if ARGn picked this up first? Or, does anyone know the original publication that first contained an ad for this game? We know magazines like Blender had ads, but was " thisisnotatypo.com " the first advert? Just grasping at clues, as this game has become a bit rediculous...

Hmmm.... "Return to the Beginning"
Could it be they mean the beginning of the world/creation?
In the Hornchurch crossword puzzle, both Adam and Eve are mentioned. Creation's 'First Sin' was initiated by a snake... So perhaps the snake will be the first symbol?

But Sable and Shuck are interested in the worth of things above their chronological value. How would S+S value snake?

a thing of value but what value...? I might have missed something but how do we know it's the chronological order?
Their philosophy is "the worth of a thing is what it will bring" and who the heck knows what that means??

I agree (and was trying to get to that). Worth is more important than time but we are also being asked to look back to the begining (hence the ads in my opinion).
As for worth... good Assessment Scores (Valuable Souls) and Stella Artois are valued highly. Not that this helps me

Just a thought (and with the way this thing is going, I can post anything... ):
"begins where it ends" - "ends where it begun"
Maybe the numbers we should use are taken from the hiding room's loading screen. There are 6 (!!!) of them and they are always the same (duh) - 8 (or 0 , 16,24,33,54,82.
I know they have nothing with fibonacci but who said they should have...
Cheers.

Symbols and numbers S&S celebrates an anniversary on 30 April, so maybe there will be a clue or update on that date...
