A few thoughts on what to throw away I am thinking about.

1. All two letter symbols.
2. All one letter symbols.
3. All small letters. (all ready tryed this couldn't make anything out of it.)
4. All Capital letters. (all ready tryed this couldn't make anything out of it.)
5. All the bottom row ones which are in a different place on a normal layout.

Edit1: Just thought of something else - I am going to try after doing ^. why not seperate the letters by what number they are ROTed by.

Edit2: attached is the table of the numbers in the puzzle + the proton numbers.

OK, if we toss out all the double letter elements and ROT the remaining by their appropriate value, we have

OMANUFTYIQ

This might be the completely wrong track, but part of it anagrams to QUANTIFY. Again, that may just be coincidence, but it's interesting (and all I have so far), especially the Q and U both appearing.

QUANTIFY OM?

You missed out a few letters.

OUFTYIVAMBAQN is what I got
OUFTYI AM QN

you missed out the letters P V and Y.

I am going to try and work on what to be added - taking these as the letters not thrown away.

Edit: I tryed adding on the proton, neutron, atomic mass (using the lower and higher numbers for numbers which are .8/.9 etc) no luck...here is what I have incase anyone else can make something out of it...

I am thinking about the last line on the page. "Thus we can return to what the ancients knew. "

I think it is on about the first amount of elements created, most of the elements come from exploded stars...If I remember rightly it was the first 23 elements which were created from the galaxies forming. (H and He were created as soon as the big bang cooled I think...) I will search some astronomy websites tomorrow - but now sleep.

What the ancients knew...

I believe it was the Greeks who believed that all things were composed of the "elements" water, fire, earth, and air. If I recall correctly, the Chinese symbols for these "elements" have appeared on a few pages. The connection to the elements and the periodic table seems to strong to be coincidence to me.

Well I could get two "words" out of the letters given on the elements page. (In, N and Na) K-pax (K) and Want (B).

Maybe if we take the acheint elements at face value...Water being H2O (translating to OOY)

I am still going to look at the first elements created idea...

Whoa, an update! New text on the will->ozymandias page:
Quote:
"Before you go," he asked, "would you mind leaving a token of your passing? I know you wizards get uptight about names, but write a note on one of my pillars so I may remember you."

She walked over to the indicated structure. "Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to put down the name of the organization I represent," she replied, reaching out to examine the pillar carefully. "Freudian implications aside, there...doesn't seem to be any space on this thing." Indeed, it was covered in scrawled notes, not all of them in languages she recognized...

"Ah, just a moment." She jumped back as the pillar rumbled...then pushed farther up out of the earth. "Look down on the bottom." He chuckled again.

"She looked down at the new space, then peered up toward the top of the pillar. The pillar covered with names, dates, notes, every inch of space used..."How many of them made it to the end?" she asked, mouth suddenly dry.

"How many have you heard of, in your bright world and dusty researches?

"...not many."

The old king leaned back and laughed.
