Looked at the number backwards. 985-222-0091 instead of forwards.

985 is a Louisiana Area code, and there is a 222 exchange. I don't know if the number's real or not.

Does it reveal the puppetmaster though?

I know Jane McGonigal works for 4orty2wo, but does that mean they are the ones behind this, or is it all just a big smoke screen?

I think she probably does have something to do with it, maybe the kristen rutherford link wasn't thought through very well.

Well perhaps we can go about this in a different way...

On the 2004 Calendar, something was CLEARLY blacked out. I have a firend who is an AVID MLB fan (specifically the Dodgers). I'm IM"ing him right now to see if he's got the 2004 MLB calendar, or just the 2004 DOdgers calendar. I'll let you know. If anyone else has a connection to the calendar, make it happen... find out what's at the bottom of the May month.

I don't know if it has been said yet or not (I didn't see it) but that is *ALMOST* definitely a girls desk. The puppy on the computer?? stuffed animals? yea Smile

Not that it gains us anything... just wanted to point it out.

Another thing... I never went to the ILOVEBEES before.
Currently it has this black thing that pops up over the screen. Has that always been there?

Each team puts out their own callendar, so your friend's calendar will probably be different. Though it's possible it could be similar or the same.

The phone number "(985) 222-0091" is a Hammond, LA based phone number and the registered carrier is Centennial Southeast License Company Llc. However, due to number portability, some numbers have been transferred to a new service provider other than the registered carrier.

it leads to a mailbox, nothing to special

that is an old, crappy monitor that was placed there. it is standing on a dell. most dells come with a dell monitor. i've looked at the pic in photoshop and it seems something is there, i just can't see it.

and yes, the calender had something photoshoped out. if you crank the brightness up, the calender's black bar never brightens. could we be looking for something as simple as "black box"???

and obey the giant dates back to 1997 or so. BUT, Obey recently did work for Atari on the Nintendo DS Atari Classics game. so Obey has dealt with the game industry.....

That's not an old crappy monitor...

That's a Viewsonic Optiquest monitor (Viewsonic uses those birds as their logo. Anyone who's ever owned one recognizes it immediately.)

Not super old, not super new. For someone who doesn't do graphical work or programming, it's not uncommon in the corporate world to not have the best monitor on the market. I own my own company, and we often buy machines without the monitor. Monitors can be reused for a long time...

Don't read too much into it.

What amazes me is the horrible photoshopping everywhere. The black box, the word search, the edge of the flowers which obviously had a white background before, the URL on what looks like a fake peice of scrap paper. Its all done with like a blurry soft brush for no good reason.

I think gamem8ker needs to work on his photoshop skills.

If the flowers are photoshopped in, by someone who isn't good with photoshop, how did they get the image through the glass to look so authentic?

I seriously doubt that it's that big of a deal... I mean its supposed to be obvious lol.

No there was something behind the flowers before that had a white background... look.

Keep in mind this may be a puzzle that was submitted by another team. They may not be experts at photoshop.

BTW, I'm not sure the blacked out part on the calendar is all that important. It's probably a local ad that they didn't want to post. Teams put out all kinds of calendars with different company ads in them.

Yeah, I see that the whole black square with the wordsearch, and the area around it has been photoshopped, I just didn't see why attacking that was of any use at all Very Happy
