For some reason, I just realized that the box underneath the battleship is not part of the All-Star placard license plate thingie. DOH!

Anyone know what it is? Looks like anime stuff judging from the characters on the side, but I can't identify it. Unless its the box for the battleship? I just feel like its easier to tackle the picture as a whole knowing what everything in it is. Maybe its a waste of effort, and the word jumble is all that matters. Who knows.

Possible link to 112798.jpg? The number on Frank Thomas' jersey is 25. The date 11/27/98 is the 25th anniversary of AACI.

Just thought I would throw that out there. I've been following this forum and this is the first thing I have thought of that has not been mentioned yet.

How about trying the letters from the puzzle in binary and hex, etc.

Try with the letter from words only and once with them excluded

those letters are definitely photoshopped on because they dont line up with the black paper behind it.

I think the main part of the word search is "game find" and that the that the toys just sort of indicate that it is the back of a hobby shop in Chicago. It's definitely not a coincidence that May is the 5th month and message 512 was the reason we didnt get a challenge sooner. Plus the fact that when "Baltimore Orioles" was given as an answer it was initially the right anwer.

By the way, the all-star game was in Chicago that year because it was the first year of the new ballpark, U.S. Cellular Field.
