[5.3]--|The Truth and Reconciliation}
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
[Mission Overview]
Board a Covenant ship in an attempt to rescue Captain Keyes.

[Introduction]
The Covenant forces have captured Captain Keyes, and are holding him aboard the
Covenant Battle Cruiser, The Truth and Reconciliation. You land with a small
group of Marines, and you must find your way to the entrance of the ship from
below. You start out with a Sniper Rifle and Marine Assault Rifle.
Additionally, your Sniper Rifle is equipped with night vision on the scope. You
can activate it by pressing the flashlight button (the White button by default)
when in the zoom view. Covenant forces have been spotted up ahead, so let's get
to the action!

It's a reflection of the pen/pencil holder.

yeah i see the darth vader mask, but it's probably just a coincidence. Pretty much a few blobs in the basic shape.

I doubt it's a reflection of the mug, it's huge on the monitor, pretty much the whole right side, and the mug is tiny. Where the monitor is sitting the mug would be even smaller in the reflection. Maybe theres a poster on the other side of the cubicle thats reflected, but it's not the mug for sure.

OK.........2 quick thing b4 i hit the hay............4:30am here.

If I remember correctly the link earlier to the photo b4 it was temporarily taken down was http://ourcolony.net/images/challenges/ch_1900222589.jpg

after it came back up it is now http://ourcolony.net/images/challenges/ch1900222589.jpg

the only difference being the _

I also had saved the photo prior to the take down and have compared both visually for like a 1/2 hour and i see no difference.

the link that i beleive used to point to the pic is no longer working. I am 80% confident that it really did have an _ in it earlier.

The calender.....

These type of items are given out at games. They usually refer to these days as "Calender Day" or "Mitt Day" or "Free Ball Day" at the stadiums.

Perhaps the owner of this cubicle went to this "Calender Day" which is where he/she recieved it. Perhaps this is the game we need to find. The opposing team? The score? The stadium? etc.

Another litltle tidbit. I didn;t see anyone mention U.S. Cellular Field's previous name which was Comiskey Park. Don't think that would help but just more info.

and BTW suroot..........the ones you really want to be here from teamxbox are here

hm...shrink your browser down to a smaller size, if you're using mozilla it should compact the image as well, i'm looking at it at 13% and i can't help but see a symmetrical little shape in those blurred little letters. are the letters present more for their shape than their value?

I'm sorry if this has already been covered, I skipped the last 7 or so pages since I've got a bit of a headache right now (may or may not be related to this fiendish puzzle Razz ).

I was just reading talk on the whole Obey Giant thing, and since there doesn't seem to be much talk of it on this page I'm assuming it's already been negated as not leading anywhere but I just wanted to throw in my two cents if it's alright.

It seems to me the whole Obey Giant campaign has a hell of a lot in common with the whole Ourcolony ant thing. I think what we've got here is the cubicle of someone who's working on this ARG, perhaps the mastermind behind it all. You've got the link to karen's site, the Obey Giant sticker that's fundamental idea is the same as that of the Our Colony ant and then a bunch of stuff that seems to suggest this is the cubicle of a geek. Razz (before I rub any noses out of joint, I'm not using that in a derogatory sense).

So yah, all this seems to point to the idea that this is the cubicle of someone who has some involvement with the plotting and planning of this ARG. Does that really get us anywhere? Unfortunately, no.

I know this little ramble hasn't exactly helped send anybody on any leads, but these thoughts were floating around and I didn't wish to see them go to waste.

Wishing no ill will,

Hyperion

What shape so you see when it's shrunk down Gaymer? I can't make anything out.

Heres the image shrunk down to 13% for anyone who wants to see what he is seeing.

EDIT: The thumbnail below is actually enlarging it slightly, to see it at exactly 13% click the image.

Hmm.. biggest lead i think we have so far is this.

The wordsearch exists solely to see gamefind, that means we need to find a video game. Using the rest of the image as clues we see that this image has many retro toys in it, and has a sticker for obey giant.

The game Atari Retro Classics came out March 14th (the exact same day this ARG started) and includes art by Obey Giant.

I then searched for this game one eToys.com (also pictured in the image) and tried the product number as the answer. Unfortunatly this didn't work.

Is there anything on this trail i could be missing? Or is it just a long list of junk?
