Help, codes!!!!!!!!!

There is a new international cryptography challenge which is quite interesting at www.mystery-twister.com , have a go. I am on CC3 (makes sence when you go on it) and I am stuck.

The following three codes were encrypted using the same key using a one time pad cipher, The details will be explained later:

Message 1-OVTYRWZFWZUEQROXFGYJZPHZSQDLJC
News-THE RELATIONS ARE BROKEN

Message 2-JODPVJRAKDQNZNMFNCJBYNLZAENROW
News-THIS IS THE DUTY OF THE GOVERNMENT

Message 3-QUCRKJEMQNTTGDQWVSGQJXUYYAOQIT
News-WHAT IS THE ROLE OF TURKEY?

Using the same key, translate this message:
JODNRETQITMIBWGMUHMJHHYOLXKOAP

The site just tells you this:
Encryption
The letters are labelled from 0 to 25, A=0 B=1.
If the Plaintext is A and the Keytext is B, A=0 B=1, add together and compute the positive remainder modulo 26. So this would be 0+1=1=B
Decryption is similar just that the key is subtracted not added

A one time pad is a random key as long as the plaintext. If the key is used once then it is unbreakable but as used here four times it is possible to break but I don't know where to start.

I need lots of help to crack this please. Believe it or not it is in the beginners section

ok, this is a vigenere cipher (I'm pretty sure)

that means that there's a 'key' which can be figured out from the first 3 messages. (actually, any of the 3 messages).

I'll post when I have a methodology.

Strange, I was expecting the solves to be the same length as the code. Anyone have any idea why? Hmmm, this may take longeer than I thought.

I think that is because those arent solves. They are just clues to the plaintext and that the real plaintext will come from answering one of the questions. But I cant think of any answers exactly 30 characters long either.

I submit what I have now. I noticed that both the second and the fourth lines of coded text start with JOD so I assumed (and, yes, proly made an ass out of you and me...) That JOD=THE and went from there. Not sure if it is on the right track but you can see the results below. Apologies if it is hard to follow.

A+X=C
C-A=X
C-B=X
where A is plain text, B is Key, and C is Coded Text.

JOD=THE
T+X=J 19+X=9 16(q)
H+X=O 7+X=14 7(h)
E+X=D 4+X=3 25(z)
Code so far:
QHZ

O V T YRWZFWZUEQROXFGYJZPHZSQDLJC
14 21 19
Y O U

J O D PVJRAKDQNZNMFNCJBYNLZAENROW
9 14 3
T H E

Q U C RKJEMQNTTGDQWVSGQJXUYYAOQIT
16 20 2
A N D

Hope this helps

That is really helpful, is that the way to solve it, by just placing random words in the text. If so do you think that placing "the" on the first message beginning at letter 21 is correct. If so you get:

Message 1-THE
Message 2-RLE
Message 3-BUD

Plus the key in that part forms WAV

p.s. the news are just clues to the plaintext, I think, I hope. Plus i found out that a one time pad cipher is another name for a vigenere cipher with a key as long as the plaintext. But with a one time cipher you cant check out repeating strains of ciphertext.
