well i didnt vote in their poll -- but just for the record i think they should concrete the whole park over and build bars and clubs etc --- far better than mud and worms and squirrels and leaves falling off trees

They are undoubtedly using the word "poll" incorrectly. They probably just categorized the email that they received from us and called it a poll. They would have no way of actually polling us.
The word "poll" is often misused and misleading.
To be fair, they only refer to the email data from Earth as a poll in the graphic. In the text they refer to it as correspondence, which, assuming they just sorted email into three bins, is accurate.

Maybe a "poll" doesn't work the same way in PC as it does on Earth. Specifically, maybe they don't have to actually ASK the question, if they can "read" the attitude/answer from people's keys.
Of course, how that would work for people on Earth, I'm not sure.

[edit] Re-reading the article, I notice that it says that people "described themselves as" feeling strongly or very strongly or whatever, so maybe they DID actually get polled in the normal sense of the word. oh well.

Undecided... Maybe I also emailed reagarding the northside development. They may have seen my response as undecided as i asked for more information about the development and maybe a map...
i only got the auto-response though.
Another thing that we can assume now is that everyone in Perplex City (assuming they have the same article as us) knows that we can communicate back and forth now.

According to the Futures, there should be a clue today. Perhaps this article is it. Anything in the percentages? Stegging in the graph? Hidden phrases in the article text?
On Friday, we'll by kicking ourselves.

There's no northside_chart1.jpg. Or any, all the way up to northside_chart10.jpg, with exception for '... 3.jpg.'

Maybe the references to earth parks are hints that some of the activities would be in those parks at the appropriate London time (i.e. Central park, etc.)??

The places were suggested by RobPal though, were they not?

That's right, these parks were named in my email, however that's not to say that it does not have any significance, which could be why they printed it. The problem with that is both Parks are huge, so where would you go at 3pm 'London Time'?

Have we got new updates on the sentinel?
The Sentinel wrote:
Jewel Thieves Thwarted
A trio of burglars were caught red-handed last night leaving an upscale jewel shop in the Mobius Strip district with nearly PCL27 million in goods. Lois Atkin, the proprietor of Atkin Jewelers, said that her alarm went off at 3:20am and automatically contacted the police, who had arrived and nabbed the alleged culprits before she got there. (Full text)
And maybe 3 or 4 of these:

Not 100% sure... Could someone confirm rather than me making a new thread and making a fool of myself...?

You're right -sudden flush of stuff eclipsed them I guess. Although Mikey J noted
Quote:
Camber acquitted...come full circle for the earliest headline we got: which was Camber called to testify. Lovely but uninformative.
Elsewhere there was a spec (dream/fantasy) that hundreds of sites would come live simultaneously and th PMs would sit back and watch us for a while. I feel like that already - headline referencing past headlines, futures referencing each other, OOG people IG and IG people being interbviewed by OOG people. But nothing seems to definatively point to anyother one thing. I've been making that noise in the back of my throat a lot lately => arrrg!
