here is an inverted color picture. Maybe it will help someone if anyone is still even working on the puzzle.

Well if we knew how it would or wouldn't help that would indicate that we actually had an idea of what we're looking for. Since we don't, anything could be a big help.

well it at least gives us something else to look at, even if it isn't all that helpful...

It's been posted before, it wasn't any use then.

Surely anyone can look at an inverted image, or download the thing themselves and invert it rather than having it posted every time the page goes down the list.

So I see we have gotten no where.

The only possible "lead" that I haven't seen attempted is the one I posted about 15 pages back or so.

I was trying to find out who is the ARGolonists leader and who is the yay team leader.

Not their real names or their s/n's for this site, but the s/n that ourcolony.net knows them by.

My reasoning was that I saw somewhere here that the hidden word may be gamefinder instead of gamefind. I didn't just pull it out of my ass but somebody had found some hidden text somewhere that said that or something. So, I started looking for more "wrapped" words and such like many others have as well. The first ones I found where LEADER - FIND - TEAM - COLONY.

I thought that maybe they either might want the name of the leader for the leading colony or perhaps the name of the leader of our respective colony. I am a member of ARGolonists, hence why I asked for our leaders name.

I don't know if anybody tried it yet. I would have already if I actually knew who our leader was or who the leader of yay is. Nobody could answer either of those questions for me so I have yet to try them as viable answers. If you think this is worth punching 2 names into a small field and pressing enter, either give it a shot or tell me the leaders names and I will do it. Thanks.

i believe the user on this board named chippy is the yay leader. I'm not 100% certain on that though. I have no idea who the argolonist leader is.

not flaming you dude, BUT, theres no way your theory about the leaders would work, BECAUSE the answer space for the challenge is 40 characters long, our colony tags are a MAX of 8 characters long. if it was just putting in a name, why waste all that space on the answer line?

I'm pretty sure about 90% of each challenge is there for no reason. Hell the answer might be 3 letters. It's worth a shot at least.

yeah, just because they give you 40 spaces doesn't mean you have to use them all. in fact, i dont' believe any of the challenge solutions used all 40 spaces. oh, and you can have more than 40 characters, it just starts to go off the visible edge. the input box is a pretty common input box really.

If someone already posted about this, my apologies...
Anyway, I don't know if this is significant or not, but here it is...

I separated "900222589" from the "ch1" in the image filename and did a reverse zip code lookup on 90022. Lo and behold, it is a real Los Angeles zip code! Then, I added in the 22589 to make it a ZIP+4 code (90022-2589) which points to a real region of Los Angeles!

Here's a map of the area
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps.py?&addr...s,CA+90022-2589

Now, I don't know LA very well at all since I've only been there a couple days at a time in the past. So, let's see if this means anything... Maybe the "ch1" points to a particular building/address in this area? Do the clues in the image help point to a particular address in this area? What are the chanes that the filename points to one of the two most important cities in OurColony (Chicago and LA)?

Okay, so Kristen is out of the game. I'm not trying to be a bitch by not letting drop, but I was just curious how you know for a fact that person that posted was her? Actually, I don't need a reason if you just assure me it was for a fact her and that you guys have a more personal relationship with her and her people I'll believe you. But why then the hints on the website here:
http://www.kristenrutherford.com/wst_page9.html
Why would gamem8ker be such a dick.

Okay, this may be streatching, but see if you can see what I see here when applying boggle rules of the letters just have to be next to each other to spell a word or sentence:

My Colony Is a Federal Base

Now, I know someone back there had a idea about the pic being posted on a government server.

Originally the Yay leader was Chippy and the Argolonist leader was Pokekiller.

interesting...

but i am not smart enough to have found the government image, and personally believe that it is a coincedence. but, i don't think it has been mentioned before.

pretty crazy and cool find though.

wow nice find. Thats easily the most credible sentence i've seen yet. It even makes sense gramatically unlike most of the others suggested. Good work. Anyone know a list of federal bases?
