Sunny One,
I have received the most alarming email from Mr. Penrose last night. I believe I told you all that I had written to him hoping to learn more about the symbol on the stone. The reply is quite disturbing. It says:

"Mrs. Willingham,
I thought I could get away from them, I really did. I told no one where I was going. I made sure no one was following me. I haven't used my cell phone or any of my credit cards. And yet still they have found me. They are there, watching me. I know I am almost out of time. They will be coming for me soon. But I have fooled them. I couldn't risk them getting their hands on what I have found.

Whatever you do, keep what I have sent you away from them.

Don't you agree this is upsetting? Who are "they"? The DEG's? The Seven? Do you know who is pursuing him? Oh my. He has no idea what is happening here if he thinks this is a safe place to send something.

Iris' attempts to contact Sarah last night were disappointing. We couldn't get in touch with Wes to borrow the statue and the stone didn't provide a link because of some kind of interference. Might that be the aura of it's previous
possessor?
