How would Microsoft get a file onto a government website? That's some file owned by a guy who wanted to be able to share the image. That's it, it has nothing to do with this. Come on guys, that's as out of game as Newscientist.

Speaking of grasping at straws, this is the best my complete lack of image manipulation skills managed with the red note (there has been a lot of color adjustment incase you didn't notice):

That almost looks like it says mlb.com

Perhaps, and I don't know if it's been said yet, "inviting challenge" means that there is some sort of invitation within this puzzle. I checked the letters, and you can create "come play my colony", although that resuses letters and isn't the solution, but perhaps there is some other invitation in there?

We've found this interesting phrase in the crosswords: BY MY GAME FIND A COOK OIL.

If you look closer to the lower part of the picture, where the toys are you'll find a little bottle with a yellow liquid.

What do you think of this?[/img]

So lets look.

A word search
Calendar

Does anyone know what games frank thomas might play in his off time?

I dunno. trying to keep it simple.

Going of off the My Colony Is A Federal Base, it also says Gamefinder Is A Federal Base. God, I don't know. I've also read on another website that there is a bungie connection as Bungie is based out of Chicago, Chicago White Sox, Bungie used the Chicago Philharmonic for music in Halo, Former Bungie Employees founded Wideload Games based where

Maybe that this cubicle is a worker at Bungie and his name may be the answer.

Also, as far as something being 'hidden' in the picture. I'm quite sure there is black photoshopped over the bottom of the calendar. If you look at the pages behind it, they are colored, but that top page is black.

That makes sense...the solution to the last challenge was "reset reality", which was a reference taken from Microsoft's E3 site that allowed "invited" guests to register. Now the challenge page says, "inviting challenge".

I can't see it, it says its been removed by admin. I can't see the other link either. Any chance you would host it and post it here so we all can see?

w00t! (it's not often that I feel justified using that word)

It's solved, finally. (and I got to enter it for team yay, which was a wonderful feeling, even if I didn't solve it myself)

(and that's enough parenthetical comments for one post)
