 		Use the Battle Rifle to suppress and to harry
Following discussions in the XBox Live thread:

Use the battle rifle to keep the sniper busy and prevent him from zooming in.

Use the battle rifle to harry opponents from afar on Collosus and on Burial Mounds. You may not get many kills, but you will substantially improve your team's overall performance.

 		Banshee and rockets on Ascension.
Get the rockets and banshee on Ascension. They're on opposite sides of the map, so it may not be easy to get both. If possible, use the banshee to pick up the rockets and keep them in the banshee. If your opponents have the rockets, fly the banshee just below "ground" level and exhort your teammates to get the rocket carrier. Stay aware of the rocket respawn location (on the lower platform), and pick up the rockets as soon as they respawn. Note: the rockets will respawn, even if you don't fire any of them.

When the banshee is safe from the rockets, use it to strafe targets of opportunity from a distance. Watch the battlefield and inform your teammates. Strafe the sniper spots regularly. If someone starts shooting at the banshee, boost away and down below ground level until your shields recharge. No matter how much fun it would be to splatter someone with the banshee, stay away from ground level. Circle your opponents' spawn location and strafe it continuously.

Keep the rockets in the banshee. If your teammate has the rockets on the ground, use them up as soon as possible. When the banshee pilot has the rockets, no one can use the rockets to shoot down the banshee. If the banshee ever gets hyjacked, the jacked pilot has a last resort (the rockets) to shoot down the banshee immediately.

If you don't have the banshee, get the rockets. They respawn rapidly. When you get the rockets, bring the banshee down. Look for the banshee to respawn. Rinse. Repeat. Of course, hyjack the banshee if you can, but don't try to "hunt" the banshee. Just get the rockets.

Ummm... the Banshee platform is right next to the rocket spawn spot. Granted, most people go for rockets immeadiately, but they're definitely not "on opposite sides of the map". At least, not last time I checked.

But grabbing the banshee and heading over to the rocket spawn is the best way to get both. Just don't drop the banshee over the side like I usually do.

Also, as you state, the rockets WILL respawn whether they're used up or not, so you have to make sure to continually grab the rockets if you want to keep air superiority. Otherwise, the enemy will eventually grab them, and you'll be SOL.

 		Clayfoot.. you have gotten alot better sence I last played you.... O a tip for every one. Don't chuck a frag'nade when there is a grenade by you. It only ends in your death.

You can survive one frag if your at full shields but you can't take 2 of them and live. Frags are flamable... they will blow up if you shoot them, 'nade them, or do anything that would do damage to you, to them. This is helpfull when you shoot a frag out of your enemys hand when they use it as a last resort. It's so funny to blow them up with their own grenade.

Doh! You're right. I guess it just seemed far away when I was trying to fly there before someone else could jump down.

Same here. Land the banshee pointing at the teleport entrance, so it will stop there when you get out.

as you recall last night when i exclaimed "holy crap! did i just shoot a grenade out of the air?????"

didn't you say that you can bounce plasma shots back by melee'ing at the exact instant that they're about to hit? what about frags, can you play "baseball" with them?

 		While we are on the topic of 'nades. I found out (the hard way) that if you sticky someone, they can take you out by rushing you. The reverse is also true.

The lesson: do not use plasmas in close quarters combat!

I recall that i said you can shoot them out of the air... and I did say the thing about the plasma pistle.....but no you cant do it with a frag.........that im aware of anyway.

Umm let me refraze this for you.....

Do not stick people in close quarters combat!! stickies on the ground kill a guy with full shields... i think it is worth the risk.
