I doubt they'd send out something as valuable as an i-Pod. It'd alienate their fanbase and destroy the co-operative aire that ARGs are built on.

Of course, as a hopeful 333ist, it'd be rad if it was an i-Pod.

omfgwtfbbq Smile

that'd be so wrong, but an amazing marketing campaign for 'Tide' (or whatever the UK equivalent is)

I hope that those who got in the first 500, but not the first 333, will get something. Even if it's just a postcard Razz I know for a fact that I haven't got into the top 333 people.

Anyone who gets a spare souvenir would be welcome to send it to me Smile

Call me cynical, but i bet the parcel will come from firebox as they have the resources to send them all and they had a clue in their catalogue and us all registering our names and addresses will put us on some big mailing list where we will get bombarded with junk mail and so forth for ever.. i don't know how data protection law stands between worlds!!

still hope i'm one of the 333 though!! isnt it exciting

also did anyone notice that the location on the address form was already filled in as london (i dont live in london)...

I did notice that the location was already filled in. It said Charlottesville for me, which is right.

maybe it's all been predetermined by the unique reference...like those readers digest prize draws...

did anyone else get places filled in that did not relate to where they actually lived? maybe that means something, i mean, I dont remember telling anyone that i lived in london so how could they just guess that (apart from the fact it wasnt right!)?

yeah, i remember being confused that it caught on that I'm in Seattle -- and not that I'm in the metro area, but in the city itself. Seems like the only place I've told the ARG group is on these forums... but I doubt they would go and pick that up from everyone's profile?

Anybody out there a crazy spam artist and want to tell us how you could get a city from an email address?

It's probably based off of where either your IP or your mail server's IP is registered.

It's not really all that important though..

Yes , I think it's IP based - mine actually said null as did a lot of others.
