OK, help me out here... I've installed camouflage, and downloaded the bmp of the message. I right click on it, select uncamouflage, enter the password: iona rodie ... and I get nothing. I've tried every version of Iona Rodie I can think of (with caps, without, with space and without, all caps), and its still telling me that the PW is incorrect. What am I doing wrong?!? Bang Head

Re: The puzzle solved!

Hey guys!

Am still overseas, but just thought I'd tell ya how proud I am that you got the puzzle!

Just to wrap it up, here were the clues I gave:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

"...make them into a puzzle - just camouflage it a bit..." :: Camouflage stegging.

"...is do what we did with the newspaper clippings..." :: Reference to the article we found in the newspapers, relating to both the anagrammed password to the steg ("Iona Rodie", the writer of the article) as well as the rotted text (the actual article).

"...join them together..." :: Put the ROT numbers together into a line.

"...count the letters...." :: Count the letters from a, and replace the numbers with the corresponding letters.

"....square it...." :: Use a Caesar box.

"...follow the directions..." :: Go to the address.

Hope yas liked it. I know I enjoyed watching yas do it!

When I get home there will be a parcel waiting for me hopefully - as I was one of the lucky 333! I was on the metro in Naples checking my email on my phone when I got the riddle. I solved it and frantically phone-typed to get it in on time. I can't wait to see what it is!

Catchyas later (maybe with another puzzle, but don't hold your breath),

Sparkanum.

You don't know if you were oneof the 333, none of us know
