Midnight at Missisipi time, or UK time as this is a UK based game? It wouldn't hurt to check both.

surely the length of time this game has been running, someone would have been by coincidence looking at the 'web cam' pic at midnight and would have noticed any change, if there was any?

Re: the blues

by the way Johnson's life story was made into a movie called "Crossroads." He is famous for the songs "crossroad blues" (I think Eric Clapton covered this song) and "devil blues." I noticed the crossroads sign on the first page of the hornchurch star.

Sorry to be pernickity, but is film in question Crossroads, directed by Walter Hill and starring Ralph Macchio and Joe Seneca? It isn't about Robert Johnson's life, although he is talked about a lot in it and briefly appears in a couple of flashbacks, played by Tim Russ (who also played Tuvok in Star Trek: Voyager).

The film is about Willy Brown, who is mentioned in the Robert Johnson song Cross Road Blues, where he says "You can run, you can run / Tell my friend Willie Brown / That I got the crossroad blues this mornin Lord."

Johnson recorded a number of songs about his "deal", including Me And The Devil Blues, and Hellhounds On My Trail.

Eric Clapton's song Crossroads was in fact an amalgam of Cross Road Blues and Traveling Riverside Blues.

I'm not sure how any of this might help!
