TP sez Try Anagrams
Quote:
Magesteff (8:54:03 PM): who is Renee De Bushmont?
turingprinciple (8:54:22 PM): A lot of people have asked me about that name. I have yet to come to a conclusion. I would do a search for it.
turingprinciple (8:56:12 PM): Have you tried anagrams?
Magesteff (8:56:57 PM): please anagram Renee De Bushmont?
turingprinciple (8:57:19 PM): Thanks for asking politely. I only hear that type of response less than five percent of the time.
Which means she will not do the anagram for me.

Oh Jeesh.
I'm still trying to keep all the players straight.
TP gave us the 3-0-7 page, which may be a front for The Numbered Ones?
I thought she was afraid of them. And these are the DEGs. Right?
And isn't Dale connected to TP? So are the DEGs trying to help Dale?
Meanwhile Mythosphere/Guides/Digitalis have sent us on another test of mind and eye. But didn't they seem to want to help Dale before (Digitalis tried to warn him before he was visited by The Wish) and during (when he went on his journey).
Now, where does Don Marzano fit in again???? Oh, yes, he's one of The Nine?

OH and get this, I have it on fairly good authority (I promised not to tell HOW or WHICH AUthority) that the # ones do not want the Don To KNOW they have been in contact with us... and yes, take it on faith if you must, but they have not be silent.... And no I will not discuss how I know on any of the forums.

This is a bit concerning to me, as we've already been through the wringer with IGC "promises not to tell" with The Mayor's correspondences/Phyliss' coded email.
This is the place to discuss such matters. The characters do not have access here, and if per chance this is "different" than all other "in game vows of silence" ........why post anything about it at all?
I don't get it....

:
3-0-7 is not a front for the DEGs, the owner/author is just poking fun at them apparently.
As far as I'm concerned the DEGs are still the enemy.
The Guides are still tentative allies whom need to be watched.
Or to use a ST reference: timeframe?? Dominion-Federation war. The Dominion is the greater threat, so the Romulans work together with the Federation.
We are the Federation.
The DEGs are the Dominion.
The Guides are the Romulans.

The last time she said anything to me about them was when their AIM nic poped up as On-line.... she asked me if she should talk to them.
I said "If you think that is wise."

Cem is completely right. If you feel it's better to play the game separately from the unfiction crowd, then please do so. You can easily set up a separate BB or group that you trust, or continue your conversations in IM with a cadre of associates. We all do that.
In the interim, it does no one any good to post "I know but I won't tell." I can't think that any of us, who have worked hard for months before you joined and the for these weeks alongside you - helping you make your way through the path this far - would be appreciative.
And, that's really the last I'd like to write on the topic. I'm off to play the game with the rest of the group.

With all due respect hun, if you wish to think the DEGs friendly, then that is your choice. Just make sure you don't do anything which will drag the rest of us down with you, if you were proven wrong.
Your actions will effect the rest of us, and if that proves to be detrimental.. Well.. I don't think that ruining everyone's game fun quite measures up to satisfying a desire to be vindicated. But then that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

The lightbulb finally goes on over my head. Nothing like a sci-fi reference to clear things up in my head
