This is a little off the current topic, but this seemed the most astronomical thread with kelsey_requiem's syzygy.

There is a total eclipse of the moon on Tuesday visible in the UK...which counts as a syzygy, earth, moon and sun being in-line. Might be worth watching for happenings. Perhaps the parcels will all arrive on Tues...that would be impressive logistics!

[edit] for the sake of information a few more eclipses, within reach:

2005 April 8 - annular-total solar eclipse
2005 April 24 - penumbral lunar eclipse
2005 October 3 - annular solar eclipse
2005 October 17 - partial lunar eclipse #

Bit of a wait really! Did anything happen on the 8th? Otherwise this ignorable I would guess
