Attack of the Show Did any one catch Attack of the Show on Friday? Im not sure how true this is but they say that in the chalange with the barcode, was in moros code and it brought them to a hidden dirtectory on OurColony and they found this picture. I find it hard to believe but it could be true.

Seems odd...if they're willing to share the picture they found why not just tell everybody
what the directory name is so that they can look at the original themselves.

this is obviously fake but has any one bothered to scan the bar code images just to see if it says anything?

I think it's a fake.. maybe those losers at G4 are just trying to get people to watch their crummy show(s)?

What is "Attack of the show" even about? I personally don't trust anything they claimed to have found but dont tell us the URL they found. It probably decodes to say "watch attack of the show"

Well a little about the show.
Used to be called The Screen Savers
G4TV the channel it is on used to be TechTV
Tech TV was once owned by Microsoft so....
I wouldn't dismiss them so fast

Not trying to spin this off topic but, I'm trying to put together an ARGish geocache in my area. Should be a blast.

Ahh damn, The screen savers was the only show i liked on techtv. Now they went and ruined that as well i'd imagine. Damn g4.
You sure they were owned by microsoft at one point? I know before they were called techtv they were called zdtv, owned by the ziff davis corp.
Does microsoft own ziff davis?

actually microsoft never owned techtv. that was a rumor that was later found to be false. Microsoft was supposed to start a tech driven channel and people connected it to techtv. But techtv was owned by ziffdavis.then they merged with a low rate gaming channel from basic cable. they became g4techtv then back to g4.

TechTV started as ZDTV in the late 90s, then it was bought by Paul Allen (co-founder of Microsoft). G4 was started by Comcast to corner the market on video game TV a few years later. Neither one was all that successful and they were both losing a lot of money. The G4 execs decided that they could boost their ratings by getting their channel into more homes. The easiest way to do this is to buy a channel with a wider subscriber base, so they bought TechTV from the Paul Allen (who at the time was not really working with MS, but did own a lot of stock in them) a year or so ago. In short, G4 is currently owned by Comcast.
