I wonder if the packages will take longer getting overseas? But if firebox.com is doing it they must have stations in the U.S. Does anyone know how many people entered the solution? (I didn't get to my email fo about three and a half hours, so I doubt I am in Sad ) Everyone should handle thier packages with gloves only, then send the contents into a lab to be checked for finger prints (what you mean I'm obsessed? OF COURSE I AM YOU FOOL!) I can't wait till the packages arrive and people start posting on them! (*falls on floor twitching with anticipation*)

For the sake of clarity (and perhaps everyone's sanity), PPC has not sent any notification to any player (that I know of) to verify if they are, or are not in the magic 333.

So, some are just speculating based on the timeliness of their input. For those who entered in the first few minutes, it is probably safe to ASSUME they are in, but there has been no official word from PPC.

Hey people
Just a point, Firebox are VERY fast at delivering stuff, I ordered something from there myself on Friday and it came first thing this morning... not sure that whatever this package is would be coming from them.

The package might not be coming from firebox at all.. or they may not yet have sent off the packages. A lone guy sitting at his desk drinking coffee and occassionally searching the back of the sofa for some cube he lost isn't going to get through 333 packages too quickly.

Reading over today's posts, now I'm getting neurotic that maybe I didn't hit f5 fast enough to get into the 333.

Time will tell.

Eh... it'll probably be like the decoder ring from "A Christmas Story" with a cryptographic podcast that when decoded spells:

Drink your Ceretin

Smile

All this anticipation for more delay. But maybe I'm just being cynical in case I don't get one

(please let me get one, please let me get one, please let me get one)

First post for todays waiting game....still no parcel!!!

I can't believe how much junk mail I got this morning, not one addressed letter out of 7 pieces! Think that must be a personal record.

Paranoia setting in now...surely I was in the first 333, I was in about 2 minutes after the site went up...

Surely...

Ah man I can't wait any longer. This parel business is invading my dreams damnit!

Today I had a weirder set of dreams than yesterday. The packages contained some communication device that you put on your arm like a glove and some other cylindrycal device that you had to point at an UV source to activate. Apparently they created some kind of distortion and sent a message. He was saying how at the moment, when they look into our reality, they only see avatars of us (like some kind of mental projection)....

Anywho, come on, bring in the parcel.... Mad

There's, what, about fifty of us on here who were desperately reloading and checking our inboxes. I don't think there's that many lurkers, so I'd say it's a fairly safe bet that if you got your info in within the first hour or so you'll probably get a package. There's definitely not 333 posters who've said anything......

I agree. And I would not be surprised if it takes a few days for us to receive the parcel. We have no way of knowing if they were ready to send them out when we registered. Besides, there may be a big traffic jam in the wormhole, so the mail shuttle could be stuck, driver cursing & looking for shortcuts.... Smile

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been getting dreams about Perplex City.
When I woke up this morning I could vividly remember checking Scarlett's blog and seeing a detailed diagram of how the wormhole works. If only I could remember it now...

No parcel for me this morning. I'm pretty sure that if anyone had received a parcel by now they'd not let little things like going to work get in the way of posting the full details.

[sigh]Tomorrow then.[/sigh]
