Except for the fact that there is only one reward... Who will get it?

Maybe Sente lied to get our attentoion. That scheming little...
Or maybe he thinks the taking part will be enough reward.
Or my personal favourite is that there will be little something from the backers of this game delivered to everyone who entered thier address...
*Paulzilla hopes for material reward, as he's a greedy sod

What is PCGF anyways -- a group?
We're all members of the PC Gamer UK forum. PCGamer UK recently wrote an article on Perplex City and other ARPs, and although I haven't read it, it's generating a lot of interest in the scene
ARP? do you mean ARG.. ?? never heard of ARP

man this thread is growing fast... oh the irony of adding a post about how there are so many posts... anyway when one of us (crosses fingers and waits) does get a package it might be a good idea to start a new thread so that this one doesn't hit 45 pages, that is of course assuming there are puzzles in the package... just a though.

And me!
But then I haven't really said that I found out about Perplex City through PCGamer, so I'll forgive you. This once. But let it not happen again, or my wrath shall be swift and merciless

don't worry, I'm in a similar situation (due to the fact that I totally forgot to check my email until late in the evening). I think I was 5:30 late
/me hopes anyway

i still have some hope in getting one... right?
i mean, from people we know submitted plus lurkers, we have about 200 people for uf, maybe 233 or so, but that means there would have to be 100 people who signed up AND were checking their email at the time and didnt disregard it.
i'm hoping they were tracking how many answers they had along the way, so when the closed submission about 7 or so hours later, they would have around 350.

I find it hilarious that those of us who submitted late are far more optimistic than those who got in in the first few minutes. Human nature, I guess, having resigned myself to not getting a parcel, I can hope without losing anything if I don't get one.
Personally, I think they did a great job with the email. If I had long ago forgotten Perplex City and received that email, it would have piqued my interest for just long enough to solve a puzzle that was just easy enough to let me get it quickly. And a physical clue is the best way to encourage people to play. All in all, there may be many more submitted than we account for, between lurkers and *looks around guiltily* other boards.

Yeah, I'm sure that more than a few people at Immersion Unlimited got through. I think that I'm unlikely to get one, but hoping doesn't hurt anyone (at least, until I don't get one, then there's gonna be hell to pay)
/me waits by the front door, waiting for the postie
