Email Phyllis and Iris at the Library

Dearest Sunny,
I am in a terrible mood, all irritable and head-achy, from spending a day at the Library sorting through stacks of moldy papers. You see, I have been in communication with one of the helpers who was convinced that Sarah had to have copied her page from an original by Trimethius that might be found in the Walli Fard Collection. I told this person that Sarah may have been "guided" as she created the page instead of copying it from an original. In my vision of her wrapping the stones, someone was behind me speaking to her. In her notes that I found in the trunk, she mentioned Todd and we now all know this is Wes' son. But, she also mentioned "Jon" and always wrote his name in quotes as though that wasn't his real name. Perhaps it was a nickname. I feel this could have been someone from the ashram or perhaps a "spirit guide" of some kind. In previous visions, Iris has recalled a shadowy figure behind Sarah so it made sense to me. But, this person simply ignored my opinion. So, I've done my duty but I feel resentful about it since we found nothing remotely resembling the page.

Iris was actually quite excited about trying to commune with the spirits at the Library and I would rather have spent my time by her side. But, it was just as well that I had something else to do and could involve Agatha in helping me. Otherwise, she would have followed Iris around and distracted her. Of course, Iris was distracted anyway by those browsing for books and by local folks who recognized her and wanted to ask questions and tell their own poltergeist tales. All in all, it was a day of wasted effort.

We have, however made arrangements with Agatha to try again tomorrow night. Iris feels that if the Library is empty she will have a better chance of doing trance-work. Agatha will be there to supervise us and we haven't figured out exactly what to do about that. I'm just not sure she's entirely receptive to psychic detection and we don't want any negative energy around Iris while she works. Maybe I'll get one of our body guards to chat her up and keep her occupied with photos of his children. Or, perhaps, she'll surprise us and lend her nurturing energies to our efforts.

Love,
Phyllis
