Thanks to a suggestion from Carlo, I tried flipping the top layer and remerging. But it didn't look right, so instead I flipped the bottom layer. Hmm, anyone see the word "PROVE" now?

*edit: made the picture a little clearer*

If we take the word PROVE to equal 2T4V1, then the rest translates as

Code:

2T4VI  £4BT  C4TSG
PROV*  *O*R  *OR**

Keep in mind that the word over the picture ends with the number 1 and the first of the three words ends with the letter I. I don't know what those can be translated to, but its an idea.

So then would the signature translate to VEO?

" THERE IS DANGER NEARING US ALL.

Well it fits, but it was more guess work than a puzzle Confused I tried the various words as web pages or other common file types but nothing.

Maybe it has something to do with the password or registry number we're supposed to send..

Zoe has updated her blog:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Proven

27th Eosturmónaþ 3091- Posted by Zoe @ 9.01pm

Could life get any worse?, at the moment leo has gone all strange on me, dont know whats wrong with him, I could do with him right now if Only. eVen if it was found today im not sure if Everything would be instantly fixed. We know it is somewhere in 1st, but my friends and I have No power over it. To be honest I just wish it was over right now but I think it is going to take sometime.

The captials spell: CIOVEWINTII

Also hidden in the source is a link: http://www.earthcam.com/uk/england/london/index.php

Which is a live webcam of Covent Gardens.

Finally, COVENT can be spelled from the letters above, with IWIII left over.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The W is clearly a mistake, and the I's are just from "I" aren't they? So they probably don't count...

So, it looks like we're going to Covent Garden at some point then...

Surely Eosturmónaþ must be a code?

I don't think spoiler tags were necessary, but I put them in anyway Smile

Does this get its own forum soon then, if what I said above is true?

heh, I'm new at this Smile

According to (randomly googled site): http://haligwaerstow.ealdriht.org/months.html
"Eosturmónaþ" is an ancient month name like "Fillibrook" and "Rugern"
Specifically it means something like "the month of Easter".

Super newbie, so apologies if this is a red herring, but is there any relevance to the alt tag, "(1st Only)Blog Listing Service" on the blogwise link?

Okay,
in conjunction with Sorites post.

According to the Germandic callendar on Wikipedia:

Rugern (Rye Harvest) = October
Fillabrook (Brook-Filling) = February
Eosturmónaþ (Month of the Goddess Eostre) = April

Posted for further reference.
