Ugh; you all have far more interesting ppc dreams than me; last night I dreamt I was staring at pages and pages of hexadecimal code representing a file and I could see a stegged message in the file and read it. Sadly, I forget what it says, except I think the first letter was either H or A.......

So, the mysterious backers behind all this cubic fun and frolickery are, in fact, people in the mental health trade just rubbing their hands together with glee at all the money they can rake in - charging by the hour, listening our cube related dreams, making notes in notebooks, going "hmm" and saying "And why do you think you're having these feelings?"... It's a global conspiracy I tell you. A conspiracy!

*muttering* but how will I type wearing that? The sleeves do up at the back? *muttering*

Expected something like this, but it still made me laugh. Well done.

Rumour has it - the package will be some kind of storage device :ipod:usbkey: which will be the 'key' to access the authorization page and only those 333 playerz that received the reward will be left in the game - or the playerz that used a bunch of different email addresses on a lan with their friendz and relativez postal addresses. Razz might be unfair- still legit. haha PWNED! Didn't even have to play to get a prezzy! Very Happy

Oh, I see. You read through the messages in this thread, identified the ungrounded fear that some people have of being excluded from the game once the parcels go out, and decided to post a bullshit message in the hopes of pissing some people off. And you wonder why you have no friends and so much free time on your hands. Maybe you should spend a little less time in your parents' basement and a little more time doing something constructive.

Or I might be completely wrong and the sponsors for this game thought that an effective marketing tool would be an ARG that excludes all but 333 players (or 3 players with no lives). So what are you going to do with 111 ipods anyways?

Put them in a pillow case and beat Steve Jobs to death.

Lol, I had a Perplex dream last night as well:

I had recieved two parcels, and I knew they were the ones. I opened the smaller one and there was a single SD card in it (Heh, Heist) so I thought 'Right, they would have given me something to read it too'. I opened the other box and there was a CD player with an SD card slot in the top (Er....).
Before I could get the card in the player the dream changed to a different one.

Heh, no parcel and no perplex make Tom something-something.

I'm just waiting for the guys from the post room to deliver the mail to the pidgeon holes in halls... They normally come about 9:30, so 2 hours to go...

yeah, like, i think if they dont start arriving today, like, we will have a wait on our hands. Like i'm thinking packages were made and set and waiting to get addresses and dumped in the mail on fFriday, in which case they should arrive on people's doorsteps pretty soon ... or else they will be going out, like, sometime. eventually. sooner or later. dont bother waiting fFor the postman everyday. it'll get here sooner or later. ho hum. *SIGH*

I'm of course hoping fFor the fFirst option. Smile

boy oh boy oh boy i hope they had a north american distribution point, as well. MC is generally believed to be in london and all. but trans-atlantic mail takes fFor fFucking ever!!!

IMPATIENT, ME!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
OOG: We have heard that the game will be starting proper on May 12th, in order to coincide with the BBC Culture Show segment on ARGs and PxC. Let's just hope we won't be waiting that long eh?

I certainly hope it doesn't take too long. My last exam is May 13, after which I'll be out of here. Since I'm living in a different apartment next fall, whoever's living here next year will have a nice surprise waiting for them in the mailbox when the summer is over. That would really piss me off.
