Attention:
A series of events has led to the disappearance of a red 2006 Audi A3. If you have any information regarding its location, please contact Audi of America immediately at audiusa.com/A3 or call 1-866-OK-RECOVER.
This car's equipped with:
dual clutch DSG
open sky system
Audi Nav Plus and
2 SD card slots.
Thank you.
Oooo, it has DSG... I've always wanted to see how that compares to SMG.

DSG is Audi's "Direct Shift Gearbox"
SMG is BMW's "Sequential Manual Gearbox"
They are both computer controlled manual transmissions. Where there is a physical clutch that is computer controlled (rather than via a pedal). It's a technology that has existed in things like F1 cars for some time, and is just recently moving into consumer autos. It gives you all the benefits of a manual trans with the ease of driving an auto. It's really cool technology. I believe that the new A3 may be the least expensive car you can buy in the US equipped with this technology (although the Toyota MR2 may still be the least expensive option). It's really cool stuff

New Yorker The April 25th issue of the New Yorker has a small ad for LRR, no mention of the Audi.

[update]Commercial on VH1 edit: Ugh I just found it mentioned in another subforum... gotta learn to search more broadly. Sorry, mods feel free to delete this.
Forgive me if this is trout, I searched and found no reference, though I'm new to the game too so could have missed it.
I was just watching VH1 a few minutes ago, flipping through channels, at about 10 EST.
I saw a commercial for the missing Audi! It gave the VIN number, showed the red car, and outlined some of the features installed on it. Then there was a phone number to call with info:
1-866-657326837
It stood for something in the commerical, 1-866-OK-xxxxxxx
Sadly I cannot remember what were in the x's. I was madly trying to get the number and punched it into my phone. I retrieved the numbers from my redial button but can't remember which letters they stood for.
Calling the number takes you to an answering maching for LRR.[/b]
edit: I just merged it - Rowan

Those numbers could spell OK-RECOVER, most likely.

Well, the A3 will be the cheapest with a dual clutch... actually, it'll be the only one.

Animated Gif Starring Virgil The keen-eyed Scrappy saw this nifty new ad starring Virgil while perusing the web.
From torture comes greatness. Behold the phoenix.
And being the keen-eyed person I am, I noticed that the picture title is gawker_vkoc2 .gif. Does that mean there is a gawker_vkoc1 .gif?? Yes, there is! It looks to be screenshots of the Nisha Chronicles . Very nifty. Sadly, I did not find any others.

Marla uploaded two songs to Nisha by the Pink Slips. They mention on their website that Audi is using their song:

If you have the bandwidth to get a 10MB file , Retriever Laura mentions StolenA3 on her radio show ... about 45 minutes into the file.
