how did you down load the sound to your phone?

I have a samsung e315 do you or anyone else know if i can do the same thing...

The TM150 has a removable SD card. I used Audacity (free program) to convert the file to a standard PCM wave file and then used Yamaha's WAV to SMAF converter (also free) to make an .mmf file. Had to tweak at it a bit because the TM150 won't accept mmf files as ringtones if they're over 50kb

There's no such limitation on midi files, though. I can't seem to find a decent set of Halo midis for free download. They either sound really horrible (bad midi voice choices) or are behind a 'send it to your phone!' option.

I changed my ringer to a recording of my local axon ringing. All love a phone that plays .MP3 etc. (Silly MSP, wanting money for ringtones)

You have inspired me enough to finally get my IrDA working. Now my phone has the yellow-on-black bee silhouette for the background, to go with - what, eh? - a clean chatter ringtone! - which is in 343's I Love Bees CD pack, that can still be downloaded from me.

If anyone wonders... 343 is gone, and has long been so, I just didn't have the time to tell you. One morning, he was just gone. Left no note, made no goodbye, just vanished, probably to where he came in the first place. I kinda grew attached to the blue floating ball of ego... Too bad.

Luckily, his creations are still here for us to have fun with. The Cafepress stuff is still up - might be fun for those almost-anniversary meetings - and the CD I mentioned above.

Whenever a Beekeeper or a Halo Buddy calls, my phone plays the main (original) Halo theme.

I have an LG, and a cable. I take an MP3 or Wav, reduce its quality way down (still sounds damn fine, actually), then RENAME it to .mid . That's all I have to do to get it on my phone, and I have plenty of custom rings, mostly original Nintendo or Sega Master System audio.

Now I want that Halo compilation CD - I hope I remember to take a look for it when I get home. I'd love to pick up as much audio from the arg as possible... I've thought about making a music track, a la dreamoftherood.
