A big distraction... that everyone will notice would be nice. Wink

Ya, she needs to distract as many people as possible...

Well, she wants to help - but is scared

Quote:
Simon said that? Well, that would... that would go along with the blueprints
that someone sent me. I... can't quite remember who it was right now. It's not
really easy for me to think right now. I'm so scared. I don't even want to turn
on my lights and let those men see that I'm in here. I was telling my miner
friends about the blueprints and some were horrifyed that anyone would do such
a thing! But right afterwards those terrible men in gasmasks started walking
around and hurting people. As I was trying to get to my room and hide, I saw a
bunch of them stomping on poor Garith with those horried, ugly boots of theirs.
I wanted to help him but I was too scared to do anything. What could I do? I'm
just a reporter and not a very good one. And what if they realize that I told
people about their plans? They might come in here and beat me up next.

But... I... I... I can't just sit back and let them do that to the people on
Earth. My parents are down there!

I'll help you if I can, I really will. But I don't know what I could do. I don't
know what I'm brave enough to do. I'm sorry.

Now - I wonder if we've asked the wrong person. Perhaps she is just too scared. Do you think her mentioning about the miners means we should try Lisa as well? Dunno

I've got to go to work - and time is ticking on - so if we think it's a good idea, perhaps someone else would like to try Lisa?

We really need ideas for a distraction...

As for the distraction, there are a bunch of monkeys on the station, correct?

Hey, I like it! I was thinking of fire, but monkeys are even better.

Edit: Hmmm... maybe we should talk to Chester, since he probably knows more about the monkeys than Mary or the miners.

Oooh....fire+monkeys=TOTAL CHAOS!!!

I say we give all the monkeys books of matches and tell them very sternly "Do not play with matches, Monkeys!!" And knowing what monkeyshines monkeys are, they will definitely play with the matches, and all hell will break loose...

or we could just arrainge for their cage doors to be left open...

Using the monkeys is an excellent idea Very Happy

Not so sure about Chester though - Tim appointed him to run the science section after Max was killed - so surely he's in on it.

I'll try suggesting it to Mary, but has anyone tried Lisa yet?

Park

Do you think Dr. Park has any access to the monkeys, or is he too much of a astronomical science type guy?
