Countdown Timer off by 1 hour?

 		Countdown Timer off by 1 hour?
According to the countdown timer currently at 14:06:56, the timer will end at 8:30pm EST, but the MTv XBox premiere will be at 9:30pm EST. The possibilities are:

A. Something is going to happen an hour before the MTv show.

B. When the countdown clock was started, it didn't take Daylight Saving into effect properly. We sprung forward losing an hour which would mean that if they totally neglected Daylight Saving the countdown would end at 10:30pm EST. So this doesn't make sense, unless they screwed up the calculation and subtracted an hour from the countdown clock instead of adding an hour.

Any other speculations?

I've heard this mentioned several times before, that the countdown now ends at 8:30 pm EST. But I have done the calculation several times now and keep ending up with 8:29 pm EST. Is anyone else getting this too? Seems odd to me and I didn't notice it at first since it was so close to 8:30, but if it is correct, I wonder if that has any significance? Especially with the latest "have you checked the clock?" hint (although this is probably just for colonies that haven't answered yet).

 		Because of the math they are using, during the final minute will show 00:00:00. Essentially they are rounding down after the minute. Not to interesting.
