Dear Sunny,

(I sent this email to Pam this morning and have not heard back from her. I know that you will all be waiting for this information, so I am sending it to you as well.)

As planned, Phyllis and I returned to the Library after hours last night with
high expectations. Phyllis managed to convince Patti to let her borrow the
statue, even though Wes could not be found to ask permission. Agatha greeted us as she did the night before and ushered us inside. Thankfully she had already shut the building down, so we could start work as soon as we got there.

I had sent the boys over during the day to see if they could find something using the equipment, but they did not turn up anything when they examined the small storage room. After much debate we decided not to try to record or photograph anything in the room tonight, for fear of interfering with whatever might occur.

After the normal exchanges of pleasantries, we headed downstairs. Agatha was talking a mile a minute as if she needed to talk to keep her nerve up. She said things like: "What are we going to do if something really happens again?" and "Do you really think this is Sarah trying to communicate with us?" I looked at Phyllis and she rolled her eyes as we descended down into the basement. When we reached the small room we were surprised (and Agatha was disappointed) to find that the light went on normally, unlike yesterday. We closed the door and looked at each other saying, "Are you ready?"

I held Wes' statue and Phyllis reached for the light string. As she did, the
light went out by itself and we were plunged into pitch darkness. Agatha
gasped and Phyllis and I stood quietly, looking around as we waited for
something to occur. A minute or two passed and then the air grew chill.
Another moment passed and then a light began to form in the same spot as before, dim at first. Slowly the 'head' grew brighter and took shape.

As we watched, the face appeared and started to speak. "Listen, many have heard her cries. Have you?" The voice paused as if listening, but we were all too stunned to speak. We heard nothing besides our own rapid breathing. The statue in my hand was growing warmer as the voice continued. "I am the face to hide identity and yet reveal the truth. I am both the key and the path. I am the voice and yet have none of my own. Be witness to the tale I tell."
Of course, we were transfixed; I looked at the others and they were frozen in place by the phenomenon before us. It continued:

"There are secrets in these walls, a place meant to hold knowledge yet home to so much more. But to all there is an order, and this is not what I am now to tell. "Her mentors, the ones who came before, guided the creator to make the relics necessary to awaken the ones who had lost their way and forgotten their true nature. Once found by the right person, they awaken the ancient connection buried deep within. It could not be foreseen that someone like the one you call Marzano would find one of the stones. But such is the nature of power and knowledge. Their use is determined by the heart of the holder. One by one he has sought out the others who have found the stones.

"As they came to understand what had happened, the mentors guided the creator to make three more relics, three items that would re-open the ways lost between the worlds. One of the mentors guided her to create the illuminated pages in the style of the work of his life, pages to help locate the nine to whom the stones should have found their way.

"Before she could finish, however, she was betrayed by Alectryon, ever his master's faithful servant in every guise and incarnation. But once again he failed his master and the creator eluded him, for a time. But she could not for long.

"Listen. The time grows short. With each passing day our urgency grows as a source of great power draws near. Neither of the groups that wear the guise of protectors of the secret knowledge understands his true intent; they are blinded by their own chosen roles.

"You must find the third relic, the wand that has been carried away to the
West. Its passing has left a trail. Without them, all hope is lost. Find it
and I shall return to you." And with that the face disappeared and everything returned to normal. The three of us looked at each other and Phyllis finally said, "A third relic, what did it mean? There's the disc, the wand and..."

But, I was not paying attention and moved forward to a point on the floor
before me. There was a mask laying there! Of course, there was no question about Phyllis and me taking possession of it. Agatha really had no choice but to agree. She doesn't want to be endangered any more than most sane people do.

I hope this information helps you and your fellow investigators. The name, Alectryon, stated by the entity, is my best approximation after much meditation and I believe it is accurate. Please keep me informed and I know I do not need to ask you to forward this to the others.

Maybe STG stand for Saint G?.......ST. Germaine?

 		Well I was sort of going out on a limb googling Geocache/Magic Wand (because of The Big Guy's reference to it leaving a trail....lol)
But it was kind of cute when I actually found one...who woulda thunk it:)

 		STG might be a geocaching/treasure hunting group. The big head said there would be a trail.

EDIT*** Nevermind...after rereading a lot about them, I can't see how they'd be anything other than gamers. I wonder if Phyliss' repeated references to finding out what STG stands for is a test of some sort. I mean you couldn't exactly tell her what they most likely are....

Plus it adds to the Don-Diana affair theory, seeing how Diana is supposedly Aphrodite.

That would make Dale Helios btw.
