"back to the beggining"?

is this refering to the first puzzle? can someone put together aaaaalll the pix we have gotten? i think we have been given information that we never realized? obviously, i'm with everyone who thinks the next letter is gonna be a "T" to add to the "SIXTY" idea, but go back to the beginning? any ideas? just starting conversation....

(yes i realize im double posting. /me slaps self)

Mabye it is just as all the other things in that box a clue to the puzzle for the colonies who havent solved it.

MAbye it means the back is the beginning of the graph. iono.

also mabye we have to put the awnser to the next puzzle in the front page box. (where u type play to get into the lounge)

GOD that may be it! has anyone ever tried typing anything else than 'play' in the front page box? like, the answer to one of the challenges? or maybe a word they derived from the different challenges combined?

theyre are a few other ones that lead places (but weve known em for a while)

For example:

'create' led to the challenge submission page.
'rules' leads to a list or objectives

any others known?

theyre are eight letters that can go in the box (and its non case sensitive)

assuming you only use the 69 characters available on a standard US keyboard (with no deadkeys)

thats ____ combinations (i was gonna figure it but have to leave)

as in the reset/power button of the xbox, which would take you "back to the beggining" of your game, if you were to "push the button". Its a clue for colonies that haven't solved the riddle yet.

it has to be a date....

We have the clue "go back to the beginning" - the start page now continually shows the power button more than it ever has before too.

Also, it has an 8 character text box. Surely this has to be a date! six digits and two slashes. (??/??/??). I've tried the original Us launch date of the original Xbox and 05/12/05 for the Xbox360.

Anyone else agree with this chain of thought? I think we are close....

i think some kind of randomization function determines which orb picture shows up...so..it's not very likely the power button is showing up more often for a reason.

about the 8 char text box: it's 8 chars MAX, but any word that contains less than 9 chars will do (like 'play').....

I have also noted some oddities on this particular start page... after pressing TAB a few times (i always do this, looking for hidden links and text), i found that a strange 2-colored box appears around the orb. Notice, that it does not always do this, maybe 1 out 15 tries would it show up...

Also, on the same picture, in the lower-right corner of the orb picture (in the very corner in the black) my cursor changes from an arrow to that I-beam like cursor when you scan over text. Weird.

Trout me if you'd like, i havent seen this info anywhere else (what friggin thread would i start with???)

As a guest, i dont think i can post a screenshot, but its all true... dont know if/think it means much, just more speculation.

you have to click on the orb before pressing tab. the out line shows up
every time. i don't think it's anything.
