dont brute force. or if you do, dont post your findings. its cheating. it ruins the point of the game.

i wont do it if you guys dont want. i wouldnt do it on a real challenge but im just curious if theres anything to my front page theory and a brute force seems the only way to find out im wrong. (unless somebody proves it right first). and since it is a fixed length box it seems like such a perfect oppurtunity. iono i wouldnt consider it cheating in this case. if it was a challenge on the team page i would consider it so.

all this will probably do, (if anything) is find another page other than lounge, rules, and canvas

iono what do u guys think do it, or not?

even if i dont do a real brute force im gonna finish the generating program and have it count just to see how many combinations are possible.

oh well im goin to bed, the generator is unfinished. ill see if anybody else has replied towards my side or you guys' by the mornin.

the purpose of the game is discovery through thought. its not just let a brute force generator see what all pages it can strip off of the site. if we are meant to find something else on the main page, the PMs will see to it that we get the info, and enough clues to solve it.

feel free to do what you want, nobody can punish you for it. but keep your results off the forums as courtesy for the rest.

no there's not that many possibilities at all. well there are.....but..99% of them would never be used. remember you're supposed to be able to guess it using the clues we've gotten, so that rules out 'words' like 'hjkagrkj'. what if we posted a list on here of words we've tried on the text box? it'd basically be the same as brute-forcing it except it's not like cheating or anything, we're using our brains and most importantly, we're working together.

Have any of the clues AFTER the challenge was solved ever lead to anything... no

Does this one lead to anything... no

We just have to be patient and wait for the next challenge.

It could just mean that every part of that pic has meaning. On the older clues, there were pointless parts to the pictures, like the numbers on the comic book cover and stuff. On this puzzle, you need both axes, the numbers, all the cones, and the fact that the graph is mirrored about the x-axis to solve the puzzle. So everything is there for a reason.
