[SOLVED] #41 Orange - Whipsmart Wordsearch

Ok if you find all the words and then take the remaining text you get:

jbeqfrnepurfnergurchmmyrrdhinyragbsjnguva
tvgqelourtfgtrunejlpfeejkbvaoklpoqwexiyglpss
wcciytdftrsefwljuyilopyfrtddwsvyklgbdresdadk
cdzctjxairpbfngejrteqkudcvykgnmykoitdgqvbs
ertwjopyhjyperdwaqszhdurwxlpiyfcgkuhfrwbk
predcswwhpeddgjitncwkgderewjlpaa

Rot 13 gives:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Wordsearches are the puzzle equivalent of watching it dry

So im guessing paint is the answer[spoiler]

Was just getting to that, awesome solve though... i'm thinking that ( like with #170 ) we'll have somewhere on perplexcity.com to input 333 different words/numbers for the points?

Ever heard the well know phrase:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it's like watching paint dry

meaning it is very boring.

I thought there might be something in the remaining jumble of words. Maybe a Vigenere cipher. Tried using 'paint' as a keyword. No luck. Maybe a different combination, but for so little points it doesn't seem worth too much effort.

I just got my parcel today and so I finally read this thread...

If you do not remove any letters and just ROT the first three lines you will clearly see that it says:

Code:
wordsearchesarethep
uzzleequivalentofwa
tchingpaintdrybhleg

The rest of the text translates as garbage.

I just wanted to point this out because the answer then is not 'paint'. What the 'real' answer is I have no idea yet Wink

I totally overlooked that. No wonder it had letters missing in the other verson. I guess we just have to wait to see what form the answer field comes in before we go any further.

Did anyone notice the dark overlayed letter forms in the top left and right corners of the card? Can't tell what they are, maybe an L and I?

Why isnt the answer paint? when you find the words ( ie, you finish the wordsearch ) and exclude them, the word 'paint' does not appear in the deciphered text.... I still think the answer is 'Paint'.
