Found on this page: I made a "link" with R.A. Lafferty's short SF story, "The Six Fingers of Time" in which a cabal of people with six fingers rules the world.

Things that make you go "hmmm".
The PM of CTW uses "cabal" and "cabalagent" as nicks.
