Wiki or guide?

I'm trying to get into this here game, and I'm not having too much trouble reading all of the important stuff, but I think we may need a wiki or a guide for the main story points and characters. I'd volunteer, but I'm still trying to catch up, so I'm not quite sure about some stuff. What do you guys think?

Edit: Merged into existing Meta thread - Rowan

wiki

yeah, I said I would do the wiki, but I haven't started it yet. Maybe tonight I can get started. I'll try do the main stuff and work backwards. Maybe the updates have slowed down a bit.

I know it will help to get more people to play, and they should, because this is a great game.

Edit: ok I started with the very very basics. I have to go now, but anyone and everyone who feels like fooling around on the wiki should go for it.

I'm going to start trying to get into this game, reading through all the posts, taking notes, etc. etc. If Rose doesn't mind, I'll try to put some main points up on the wiki, then at least someone who was in the game can elaborate more on the details.

Is it about time to really give this some serious thought? Looks like a lot more players have joined since Atlanta, and thus, a lot more questions. Also, the plot complexity is starting to pick up. I've never ARG'd before, so I don't know at what point a trail/guide/forum model starts to break down, and at what point a wiki needs to be introduced.

Wiki

Well, the wiki has been active for the past few days, primarily for Worry's puzzles. Very Happy However, since this plot is just getting more and more tangled, I think we should start using it for plot info as well. This is an effort to identify parts of the wiki that need to be expanded, and pages that need to be put up. I put an Exclamation next to pages I think are important:

Exclamation Gunter In Florence Section -basically a section that contains links to
all the pictures we have of gunter in florence so far, and contains
summaries of current spec, and links to past/detailed spec. IMO, this
is critical to have done prior to the Coachella heist.

Virgil Section - basically a section that does the following:
summarizes mr freaky weirdo Screwy
summarizes what we've mapped of vkoc.com, movies, secrets, etc.
spec page for what we currently think of him?

Characters section - some basic page mapping out all the main characters we have so far: Ian, Nisha, Virgil, Gunter, Worry, Todd.

LRR Section - some section containing backstory and things we know through the LRR website. Stuff like timelines that have been posted can go here, criminal profiles, backstory spec, etc.

More PUZZLE PAGES, specifically:
Exclamation 1) Unfinished Puzzles, stuff like the last backsolve we haven't done,
stuff that we don't know if they are puzzles or not (SD card file names, SD card files that weren't used, VKOC stuff).

2) SD Card Puzzle pages (mainly for archive, but there are some unfinished questions here)

3) VKOC Puzzle pages (anything active here?)

Atlanta OP Section: summary of, and bio of our stars Very Happy

Coachella OP Section: TBA

----------

All these sections are just waiting for someone to jump up and do them, so jump on in!

Something useful...

Okay, since I suck at keeping up with the blinding pace of puzzle solving, I did at least build a short summary of the Atlanta operation for the Wiki.

Look just let me hand pick my team and I can have all the cards in Nisha's hands in less than a week.

Oh, and take care of a certain set of fleshy inconveniences.

What? Too direct?
