[War of the Worlds] Possible New ARG / Movie Promo Dunno if this has been mentioned but go here: http://www.alienglyph.com/
Rumor is that this is a new ARG based on the upcoming remake of "War of the Worlds."
Hmmm another stephen speilberg movie inspired ARG...
EDIT - clarified topic; added in WotW, etc - SG

I think it probably is War of the Worlds. Check out the meta tags in the source.

one thing about the image - It is actually two images - the second one has orange highlights (flame) on it.

Man. It's like this is all so routine for many of us now.
"New website?"
"Yep."
"Here's the whois information."
"Already have it."
"So you've seen the other sites connected to the host domain?"
"Yep. Looks like a fun game."
"Great. See you at endgame!"

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me.
alienglyph.com is the only website hosted at its ip, so there's that.

If you look at the first pic a little closer, you can see smoke coming off of it. And when you keep refreshing, you get one picture sometimes, and the other picture the other times, so could there be some code in this. Maybe a pattern it follows that will give us something?

Interested by this one since I didn't get into The Beast. Hope it's by the same people (if it is an ARG). Where did the trailhead come from anyway? Are there clues in the trailer yet?
Thought it might be a simple case of mirroring the text in Photoshop somehow. It does frustratingly look like a word if you squint your eyes. Just not one I can figure out.
Then again, if it's just a placeholder graphic, maybe going too far too soon...

It is about time something turned up for WOTW. I could not comprehend how the great-grandfater of ARGs (see Orson Wells) being made into a movie by the grandfather of ARGs and there not be an ARG for it.

Yeah, that was in the code before. I think I pointed it out in my post over at IU, but I guess no one here did.
